Reviews and scores are worrying. Didn't love the first movie that much so I was planning on waiting for the blu ray release anyway.

Doesn't touch the first and personally I think they lean too much on the musical aspect but it's ok

Lady Gaga is good in this everything else is meh, she’s easily the best part of the movie whenever she’s on screen imo.

Good thing my expectations weren’t high so I don’t feel let down.

Welp this movie sucked. Joaquin Phoenix is giving an Oscar winning performance in a bad movie and I just feel bad for him. He was the best part of this movie where everything else wasn’t good. The cinematography was quite striking at points I will say. The movie LOOKS pretty good but that’s where my praise ends.

It’s one of those movies where it’s never as clever as it thinks it is. It has a lot to say but somehow manages to say nothing at all. Instead of being a chaotic Joker and Harley story, it’s just a boring and downtrodden courtroom drama with very little character development. The musical sequences are kind of entertaining but don’t fit in the story.

And the ending… Jesus Christ come on. REALLY?


Overall a huge letdown, should’ve just left well enough alone with the great first one and not made this cash grab but Hollywood is gonna Hollywood.

Yeah this movie is gonna bomb in North America. Only chance it has is a strong overseas haul to even come close to breaking even.

Looks to be seeing a new record for second week drop for a comic book movie. That’s after coming well under week 1 projections. Before the weekend the question was whether unrated slasher Terrifier 3 would beat it…not it looks like it’s going to double it. Quite the feet for a direct sequel to a giant monster hit to pull off really. Almost unthinkable tbh. Even with the lack of buzz there weee so many people who saw the original it’s pretty incredible. A massive misstep at least domestically

The dude that directed this also directed Hangover 2 & 3 so he's very familiar with underwhelming sequels

Yeah The Hangover sequels have to be some of the worst disappointments I've had in a cinema.

Terrifier 3 is already fucking this movie in the ass box office-wise.

Talk about a huge misfire. Guess this is what happens when you make a second movie that undoes what the first movie did and ruins the character.
