This is coming from Morrison's Twitter Account:

I'm about to get an operation to fix my neck- I will return @RonKillings

Now that angle from last week made more sense. Kinda sucks to see a star on the injury list and it leaves me wondering what they are going to do with Truth now.

Shame to see anyone injured, if he's back in time for Summerslam though, Truth vs. Morrison could be a great match.

Kofi vs Truth wouldn't be too bad of an alternative.

EDIT:

-- John Morrison is expected to be sidelined for several months after undergoing surgery on his injured neck today, reports F4WOnline.com.

WWE orchestrated an angle last Monday on Raw where R-Truth ambushed John Morrison just prior to their scheduled match. He attacked Morrison again, leaving him immobile on the entrance ramp. The angle was set up in case Morrison needed surgery or time off. He was pulled from this weekend's tour so the severity of his injuries could be examined.
Wonder when he actually sustained the injury then.

I didn't see the last PPV but I would guess it happened during the WWE title match since I doubt they would have kept him in a gimmick match otherwise.

Really sucks for anything to get a neck injury since that seems like the worse injury to have in wrestling let alone for someone who wrestles the style he does.

Yeah i was wondering when he actually sustained the injury. I'm guessing at Extreme Rules or maybe a week or two before, since i doubt they'd have set up the fued with R-Truth just to kill off Morrison.

4-6 weeks isn't as bad as it might have been and still enough to ensure the continuation of his feud with Truth. Hopefully he recovers well from it.

For a neck injury he is very very fortunate. It's always 5-10 months maybe more most of the time so it's good to hear it wasn't that kind of severity.
