John Madden Passes away at 85

Madden's contributions as a Coach, Commentator, and to Video Games will never be matched. He made me fall in love with Football and taught me the ins and outs of the Game in a way that was so much fun to watch. This one hurts.​

John Madden's a huge icon in my eyes and as sports fan it's hit me hard. He was successful everything he did as HoHo mentioned. His name will live on forever in the world of the NFL.

Madden took this sport from a the niche of the 1960s & 70s and brought it kicking and screaming to the spotlight with his voice and broadcasting skills by the late 1980s. Without Madden, it is doubtful that the NFL becomes as popular as it is today. RIP to the man himself.
