John Cena undergoes arm surgery

Honestly this would be a good time to do a injury angle with Cena whether it be Punk taking him out and Punk faces someone else (though I want to see Punk/Cena hitc) or run a whodunit angle taking Cena out but Cena still makes the PPV but gets cost the match by whoever attacked him giving him a new feud.

I think if WWE was serious about pushing Ziggler, and the current route he's going, I'd be putting Ziggler in that position.

Didn't mean to be in the title scene. But a feud with Cena would help him a lot. If he turned out to be the guy to take out Cena, it would be golden!

That would also be sexy as fuck. But nah. As much as I'd love to see Ziggler there now, not for him. But a small feud with Cena could really help him.

That would work perfectly fine and would like that idea more my idea was just more of an attempt to push someone up the card.

At least this means John Cena off our screens for a little while! They could run various angles but if I was creative I would have Brock Lesnar take out Cena because that way any amount of time that Cena has off will seem believable because he's been taken out by Lesnar as oppose to being taken out by Barrett. I hope Cena recovers and returns but at least we get a break from him for a while, or so I hope. The other alternative is to run an angle on RAW next week explaining how CM Punk has caused the injury and 'emergency surgery'.

Or they could just go with the fact that Cena does so much work it took a strain on his body to get him some sympathy.

Amazes me that these days you can have surgery like this and only be out for 2-3 weeks, they are some pretty tough guys to have a turnaround as short as that. Luckily for WWE they actually gave themself time between PPVs so he has plenty of time to recover before HIAC PPV. Wouldn't be the worst idea to run an injury angle with Cena later this year to give him a month or two off and have him fresh before the Road to WrestleMania. Could help get someone else over by attacking him, would give more time to someone else as well and WWE would be protecting their biggest star for the biggest drawing period of the year.
