Joey Janela not returning to AEW after contract expires

It says that it expires in May and he's been working the indies more than ever the last year lol he's booking Joey Janela's Spring Break parts 1 and 2 for Dallas on Mania weekend lmao AEW contracts do not stop you from working indies, at least at the moment no one has said that Tony has refused to allow an indie booking. Most of the roster outside the absolute top stars work them

Ok cool then it’s not a big deal. Wasn’t sure if these guys were locked in exclusively or not. I brought up Stunt cause there was a report a few months ago where they pretty much said the same thing that he’s not coming back

I don’t think either WWE or Impact touches Janela, Stunt or Cage but if they can still work indies while under contract than TK did right

Stunt has been working indies too, at least GCW. His contract might already be expired, if not it's another May one bc I assume a lot are up them bc of the first double or nothing show happening that month.

And nah janela says as much, he can make more money working indies now than he could on 2019 so he'd rather do that. I'd be shocked if he shows up at any thing higher profile than GCW
