Joe Blanchard, the father of Tully Blanchard, who owned the first promotion to run on the USA Network, Southwest Championship Wrestling, passed away this morning at the age of 84.

In 2010, The NWA Legends Fanfest inducted Blanchard into their Hall of Heroes.

Our deepest condolences to the Blanchard family during this sad time.
