Can't say I'm not looking forward to some fresh input in creative. I don't think it's stale or bad or anything like that right now, but some new brains getting involved can always help improve things.

We'll probably find more out now but fwiw Tony has always pushed back on the IWC narrative that a lot of bad ideas were Jacobs's. He's said Jimmy was a producer and didn't work on creative multiple times, but they were friends, we know they went on like a cross country car ride together when planes were down once lol

List yes, learning tree maybe. A lot of people have even said it was only Jacobs idea and not Jericho's but that's only people that hate it and want to blame Jimmy so again, I guess we'll probably figure out what he was actually doing in the coming months

I did see a thread about ibou n what was blamed on Jacob's. My issue with it is it didn't include his supposed good ideas . N it seemed like shaped to piss off nerds specifically ( Jericho push, hates DG, killed Takeshita tnt push). Seems odd.

I can still buy the learning tree stuff but would easily believe anyone that said otherwise, but every segment isn't plausible at all lmao

One thing not even mentioned I could have bought is he did have a hand in the Elite/TK stuff which didn't end up great. That just makes sense bc he was so tight with TK apparently and has always been friends with the Bucks (which probably means he'd know Okada).

But the only thing official we have is TK saying he was a match producer and not on creative still so until someone I actually trust disputes that, I'm pretty sure that's what happened lol the reports when he left TNA were also that he was burnt out creatively and that he wasn't joining AEW to write
