- During an interview with Brian Fritz of Fanhouse.com, Chris Jericho said that he may be returning to the ring soon. "I consider it always because it's not like it was in 2005 where I was sick of wrestling." Jericho told Fanhouse. "sick of it is maybe a harsh word. Disenchanted, I guess, is a better word.

"I wasn't disenchanted when I left in September. It was just my contract was up. That was it. And there were other things just waiting to come through. Even if I was coming back, I always would have taken those four months, three months off to do the Fozzy tours. Then other things have kind of popped up to delay my return."

On his contractual status with WWE Jericho said: "I mean, there's a deal on the table, he said. "A deal on the table that's 90-percent done. There's a couple of minor things that we had to hammer out. It would just be a matter of what other stuff is going on and how that stuff is going."
Seems like he could actually be back sometime before mania possibly if the deal is about 90% done.

Yeah but it seems like the deal's been 90% done since October. He's saying he'll come back when he gets done with the things he wants to do. I think I'd rather he return post-Wrestlemania than get thrown into something a couple weeks before WM.

Maybe Jericho's return will be 2.21.11...:side:

In all seriousness though, regardless of the fact he's only been gone since September, I'll still mark out when he returns.

You joke, but he could very well spoil Sting's WWE debut and set up a WM match between them. They know one another and if Sting is really inked for a year they could always do Sting v Taker at WM28 then

If Taker isn't close to where he wants to be I still see him teaming with Kane versus the Corre since they are the ones who buried him.

Yeah to be honest I would too and Jericho is my all time favourite. But I actually think PSYCH's idea isn't a bad one. To have Jericho come out to Sting's WCW theme would piss everyone off enough to give him massive heat and would ensure an even bigger pop for Sting if he really is returning. Plus I'm still convinced of a Taker/Barrett Mania match as opposed to a Sting/Taker match.

Im a pretty hardcore Jericholic, but if it turns out to be anyone other then Sting its pretty much a let down.

I mean STING in the WWE is something i thought id never see, so all this speculation about him signing has got me hyped up.

In a perfect world both Sting and Jericho will be in the E :D

Jericho v Sting would also mean that Sting would go over in his first Mania match

I would not have a problem with anything about that match, that match would be fucking EPIC.

I wouldn't either because we all know that he won't and shouldn't go over for Taker's streak, no matter how big his name is because he is still the outsider

Jericho should have returned at the Rumble and gone for revenge on Orton
