This is the sad part…

Jeff Hardy is going to be given another chance by someone. Because he’s Jeff Hardy and he sells merch, and he’s over.

Everyone is enabling him to an extent. Because the people in charge will sweep this under the rug. The fans will forget everything once his music hits. His family will put out statements but not actually do anything.
I would go as far as to say they're EXPLOITING him at this point. Knowing that as long as he faces no real, enduring consequences, he's even more likely to repeat this behavior, but still bringing him in the first chance they get.

Like I said before leaving him to his own devices will just result in an innocent person getting hurt so it’s better to send him to rehab.

I think you can both believe that sending him to rehab is the right move but that AEW also cares more about the money he makes them and not moral obligations tbf, the right decision is done for the wrong reasons often

I think we may also be forgetting Tony being a mark for certain older wrestlers too. But I also don't disagree that I think they should have pulled the plug the moment they found out he was on the sauce again during Mania weekend. Looks like they were trying to rush things before he got worse and thats a pretty bad look too, id have to agree

Like I do think that if they paying jeff regardless its probably more about selfishly wanting to give them that run and make people happy ...but for the wrong reasons. probably some wanting to get your moneys worth on the contract too but i guess all of this is speculative as I don't know Tony personally or his motivations to do anything

We'll see how well that works out for him, especially since he was caught on camera.

Pffft....like he'll ever face anything else than a fine, probation and maybe a suspended license.

Hell. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets knocked down to a reckless charge or less.

There are some sorry as District Attorneys who can fuck up a clear DUI case. That's a little frustration coming out there.

Jeff Hardy's arraignment and bond hearing related to his June DUI arrest has been postponed until next month.

According to court records, Hardy had been set to appear in court in Volusia County in Florida on Tuesday, July 5, but the hearing was postponed until Tuesday, August 2 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Hardy is set to be arraigned on one felony count of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol third offense within ten years, as well as a pair of misdemeanor charges -- driving while license is cancelled, suspended or revoked, and violating restrictions placed on a driver's license.

On June 13 in Volusia County, Hardy was arrested after being pulled over by the Florida Highway Patrol. According to the arrest report, Hardy was "...unsteady on his feet, displayed orbital sway, reeked of the odor of an alcoholic beverage, and was confused.”

A pair of tests administered to Hardy revealed a blood-alcohol content of 0.294, and 0.291 respectively, both three times over the legal limit in the state of Florida.

Hardy filed a written not guilty plea to the charges on June 28, and PW Insider reports that Hardy entered a rehab treatment facility on June 21. He was released on $3500 bond following his arrest.

According to a statement issued by AEW GM Tony Khan, Hardy has been placed on indefinite suspension without pay, "...and he can only return to AEW upon successfully completing treatment and maintaining his sobriety."

Hardy joined AEW in March after being released by WWE in December.

I wish he could get help from Tony but help from someone if not him.
