JBL Signs On For Full-Time WWE Announcing Return

JBL has announced on Facebook that he has signed a deal to stay at the WWE announce table on a full-time basis, making his tempoary fill-in a permanent return. JBL said he will be doing Smackdown with Josh Matthews

I am so happy about this, cause I love JBL on commentary and means i can start my "Take a shot every time he mentions the NFL"

That's what I was hoping to see when I came into the thread. I'm one of those people that don't really watch Smackdown!. I record it and fast forward through most of it.

Good to see him come back full-time though.

I'm a huge JBL fan but I feel he was suckered into this after declining it for awhile with King being out like this.

Fantastic news. He was excellent when he first worked as a commentator with Cole on Smackdown and has been great since returning, he hasn't lost it at all. Looking forward to what he and Matthews can do together on Smackdown, will be much better than listening to Cole, Matthews and Booker T as that combination never really worked.
