Luis Boa Morte: Portuguese winger leaves Chesterfield
Chesterfield have released former Portugal winger Luis Boa Morte after the end of his contract.
The 35-year-old signed a short-term deal with the League Two side in October and made nine appearances in all competitions.
Spireites manager Paul Cook told the club website: "Luis has been a model professional during his time with us.
"We thank him for his efforts but we have decided against extending his stay."
The former Arsenal, Fulham and West Ham man is the second player to leave the club in the space of 24 hours after striker Craig Westcarr was released on Wednesday.
Leeds United sign Stoke City midfielder Michael Tonge
Leeds United have signed Stoke City midfielder Michael Tonge on a two-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old scored five goals in 22 matches during a successful loan spell with the club that came to an end shortly before Christmas.
"He showed what an important member of the squad he is," manager Neil Warnock told the club website.
"I think people saw Michael get better as time went on."
Tonge's Stoke exit brings an end to a period that saw him make just 18 appearances in over four years with the Potters.
In addition to his loan spell at Elland Road the former Sheffield United man also had stints with Preston, Derby and Barnsley.

Fabricio Coloccini: Newcastle defender wants return to Argentina
By Ben Smith
BBC Sport
Newcastle United captain Fabricio Coloccini has told the club he wants to leave in January for personal reasons.
While the 30-year-old has not handed in a formal transfer request, a crisis in his personal life means he no longer feels he can stay on Tyneside.
Further talks are planned in the coming days, with Newcastle set to do all they can to persuade the Argentina international to change his mind.
But club officials fear Coloccini has set his heart on a return to Argentina.
Originally from Cordoba in Argentina, Coloccini joined Newcastle from Deportivo for £10.3m in 2008 and signed a new four-year contract with Newcastle last year.
He has only made 18 appearances in all competitions this season, due to a hamstring injury picked up on international duty and a three-match suspension after being sent off against Liverpool .
But his performances have drawn praise from manager Alan Pardew, who said that watching him against rivals Sunderland in October was "like watching Bobby Moore."
Newcastle have already sold striker Demba Ba to Chelsea this transfer window.
