Wonder where he'll go, you have Uncle Harry at QPR, WHU, MLS or China?

Could easily move to United imo.
Lamps? He's not the kind of player you need imo.

A goal-scoring midfielder? We've lacked that for years. SAF is a master at managing old players, Ray Wilkins seems to think it's highly possible.

If it's in this window though, then we won't as we'd have to pay iirc. If he becomes a free agent in the summer I can definitely see SAF snatching him up, after all, we took Owen on a free.

You need a defensive midfielder to stop you being over run more importantly, you have enough goals (top scorers in the league and unless Rooney, RVP and Hernandez go off the boil at the same time you'll have enough)

Don't even think we need a defensive midfielder at all, we just need to play young energetic midfielders alongside Carrick who does his job perfectly. When you play Giggs and Scholes alongside Carrick who can't press to save his life, then you're bound to be opened up. All of those are in their thirties, the latter two approaching their fourties.

Coincidence that United have had two consecutive clean sheets with Carrick & Cleverely in midfield? Obviously Lampard isn't young or really energetic, but he's still a better presser than Scholes/Giggs and his goal scoring record is just fantastic.

Frank Lampard to Manchester United will benefit us a lot, in my opinion. Frank Lampard is a legendary footballer and is very knowledgeable. It's a shame that Chelsea don't want to resign him as someone like us will take a huge advantage of him.

CELTIC
Celtic to asses Australian midfielder Tom Rogic

Australian midfielder Tom Rogic will link up with Celtic for their mid-season training camp in Spain.
The 20-year-old Central Coast Mariners player has been capped four times for the Socceroos.
"This is a great opportunity for Tomas to train with Celtic's first-team squad," said Central Coast manager Lawrie McKinna.
"Celtic are preparing for Champions League matches against Juventus, so Tom will undoubtedly learn a lot."
Rogic will return to the Mariners on 17 January, two days before their A-League clash with Newcastle Jets.

SUNDERLAND
Sunderland confirm they have completed the signing of midfielder Alfred N'Diaye from Turkish club Bursaspor for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old has signed a three-year deal at the club.
"He will give us options and I'm delighted that we have been able to bring him to the club," said Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill.

Just a rumor but Jason Steele to Liverpool... Please god no, he is by far the best player we have ever produced, our promotion chances would be ruined without him! :upset:
