I think while IMPACT has recovered pretty well from their nose dive earlier in the decade, if there is one thing they have an issue with is keeping talent. They nearly lost Josh Alexander, Ethan Page left, Keira Hogan, and others.
There's not much you can do when you're as dwarfed financially as Impact is compared to WWE and AEW.

I could see Jake Something going to NJPW tbh. Maybe AEW would take him but he feels like the sort of in-between guy who isn't a pure youngster or a name-value ex-WWE guy.

Yeah I see Jake Something having the same problem so many other talents had - not able to break through with the ludicrous roster and stuck on Dark at best

He's not quite good enough at anything to make it big, anyway. He's average at best on the mic, and while he's got a good blend of size and athleticism, it still doesn't stand out compared to other guys on the main roster.

Really enjoyed Something vs Miguel though and I hope he gets more opportunities to put on good matches on a big stage.

He would be perfect for Strong for sure

njpw USA not a bad idea, maybe even mlw (sketch). he could probably also try his hand at the indies now and try to get a couple of bg matches under his belt. i do kind of agree he's in that probably too good for impact atm (with how they book him) but not quite good enough for aew/wwe full time. its a tough spot to be in and I agree his promo work probably is what is likely keeping him down since he does have da look

for one thing Bloodsport/GCWwould be great but that doesnt solve the full time contract issue for him

He's already been killing the indies for the most part I think. Would be a downgrade to not sign anywhere else IMO when most places will let him do indies and have a contract

I think the arrival of Morrissey, Maclin and Jonah really fucked up his impact trajectory. Thoughts ?
