I think the arrival of Morrissey, Maclin and Jonah really fucked up his impact trajectory. Thoughts ?

Maybe, they never seemed to have plans for him in the first place bc I was yelling for him to be pushed all last year when he first turned face and became SOMETHING especially since I'm in the very small minority that likes the name. And all he really got was the Josh match which one could argue wasn't even meant to be that good and was just there so Josh could be claimed to have ran through the whole division

damn, weird that they never seem to have seen anything in the lad? To me he sticks out right away even if he has shortcomings, but they gave all the attention to deener instead during the split (i casually watched a few things) and then once on his own he kind of...floating around since?

I just meant that especially Maclin and Morissey are same archetypes look wise and both probably got more opportunities and are now more over ,so when it came to contract time, he was probably not i nthe best positions to negotiate

Eh Deaner just became faction fodder so I disagree there, I think they just dropped the ball especially on Jake after that feud was over cause I don't remember him doing shit before the Josh match lol and really not shit either. But yeah Maclin especially and maybe Morissey too probably effected it. Criminal we never got Jake/Maclin that I remember too

and yeah i meant more that Deaner got most of the attention in that feud since it was more about him leaving. i dont disagree he'sa fucking jobber in that faction, but at least that faction gets attention weekly, though, I suppose.
