It's a very complicated issue that I'll never be an expert on. On one hand, everyone should be able to do what they want to do, within the confines of the law. I do concede that in certain areas, there is a clear biological advantage that men have over women. It's just fact. I don't know what the work-around is moving forward, but I hope it gets cleared up sooner than later, so everyone can continue doing their thing and fuck knuckles can keep their knuckle dragging opinions inside their caves.

Jaida shows zero awareness of her stature either - she has fans who like her and are influenced by her opinions/views. Choosing to be on this hill in a public forum, and then doubling/tripling down on it, is cooked and very poor form of her. But when people like Pat McAfee and Logan Paul are given free reign to spew the shit that they spew, I doubt anything happens to her in terms of repercussions.

to me it's not complicated at all. 99.99999% of kids of play sports will never be professional athletes. Why are we stoping them from having fun? Why are we punishing an entire portion of our population because of the POTENTIAL of bad actors taking hormones to get an advantage. why not just punish individuals with bad intentions instead of blanket bans?

I'm not going to read the article but isn't his about college level and not just ordinary kids sport? Cos my girls play footy and soccer on the weekends in mixed teams. Sienna will play girls league this year cos at 13 they split into male/female leagues cos of 'growth and puberty' or something.

Drugs are a plague in sport and need to be removed for anything to be treated seriously. Lance Armstrong was juicing for a decade and even though he got exposed, I'd bet my left nut there's more cyclists on the juice than ever. I am unsure if its college or all sports, I read school so I assume all but I did not fully read.

But yeah, NCAA (college) like I said, if its only college, is the governing body and the president of said body said there's less than 10 athletes that are trans,


I can certainly understand why they seperate genders at time in HS (though tbh, I think they should all be mixed leagues and leave gender leagues to private pro leagues even for youth). Inter mural sports should be for camaraderie and fun, as well as encouraging healthy competition. There's always gonna be super athletes who dominate, regardless of their genders. Should not stop the other kids from being able to play and have fun and I think it's crazy to try to bring adult politics and taking their fun away and making a kid who is probably already struggling fitting in and telling them sorry you can't play sports with the gender you identify. It's cruel.
