Jack Swagger released from WWE

Always sad to see someone like him go, but again, he was poorly treated here. Dude deserved so much more..and now that he's out of the company, I got a feeling that's what he's going to get.
Got a good feeling about the future for Jack Swagger.

I'll miss Swagger in a way. Didn't mind him as the cocky "All-American American" just they didn't book him right as world champ. Shame but he wasn't relevant in years so him parting is best for him and WWE.

EDIT: And WWE has now come out to the Observer debunking the statement that Swagger is released. Apparently he is still under contract.

WWE issued the following on Swagger's status:

“Jack Swagger has not been granted a release from his WWE contract. When he is granted his release, Jack Swagger will remain under exclusive contract to WWE for 90 days and will be compensated accordingly during that period.”

After they release him, he kinda has a non compete for 90 days is what it means i guess. During which he's still obligated to WWE. So yeah lol.

I feel like getting busted for pot really ended up screwing him over.

Always thought he was pretty good in the ring, not as great on the mic but didn't have to be. Has a great presence to him, I'm sure he'll do pretty well on the indies once his no-compete clause is up.

According to profightdb his last couple of matches with WWE was literally replacing Zack Ryder as Mojo's tag partner on house shows. I don't blame Swagger for wanting to be released, if you're considered the replacement for Zack Ryder then you need to get out of there as quick as you can.

Being Zack Ryder is not a bad deal at all.

Ryder's like one of the most relied upon and well liked guys backstage. His 2016 was a pretty great year.
