This thread isn't aimed at the 3 people that aren't biased towards TNA on this forum, instead, I think people like CMS, Trav, and others should read this and understand that, there are some good things happening in TNA that are being ignored. I'll go ahead and lead the way with a thread dedicated to the improvement this company has been showing lately. After a shitty Victory Road PPV and some terrible episodes of iMPACT!, it seems that finally things are turning around.
Morgan/AJ: Not only is this bringing AJ back into the spotlight, and the world title picture, but we're getting good matches out of these two week after week. Its certainly entertaining, and its a win win situation I think. I mean, I'm rooting for AJ Styles, but even if Morgan wins I'll be happy because they're still elevating young talent and putting someone new in the main event either way.
The World Elite: Eric Young is now one of the top heels in TNA, all in a matter of...2 weeks? They've done a great job building him up, and with the World Elite by his side, it looks like only good things are in store for Mr. Young. This past Thursday night, World Elite got the rub off the Main Event Mafia, brilliant booking here because instead of Angle treating them like a joke, he welcomed Young with open arms and it solidified his credibility. This is what the veterans should be doing, help to make the young guys look better
Hernandez: Hernandez is another guy that TNA has been pushing lately, and its working. Supermex is a very talented big man with lots of potential, I'm so happy they're giving him a chance to shine, a chance to show what he's made of. He's a fresh new face in the upper card and I think his momentum will continue to roll week after week
Homicide/Joe: How can you people not be hyped about this? Joe vs Homicide on PPV in a hardcore rules match for the X-Division title! This match has potential written all over it, Joe/Homicide have pulled a 5 star match before and it might happen again. This match will put the X-Division back on the map.
The Knockouts division is getting hot: With the addition of Sarita and Alissa Flash, it looks like the Knockouts division may be returning to its glory days. We got an awesome womens tag match this past Thursday on iMPACT! better than any TV divas match we've seen all year. This Knockouts division is loaded with talent, and the new additions will only make it better
The Pope aka ELIJAH BURKE: Elijah Burke is back! The man who had so much potential to succeed is now going to get that chance once again, in a company that will give it to him, TNA. I'm extremely excited to see what TNA has planned for Burke, I'm very interested to see what his future holds.
The TNA war: If you didn't find that huge brawl on iMPACT! entertaining you probably just refuse to give them credit for anything. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through, it was pure awesomeness. The iMPACT! Zone was littered with EVERYONE from the face/heel sides beating the fuck out of each other. Then in the parking lot, the police get involved, and you just got a feeling that the battle between the World Elite/Main Event Mafia and the rest of TNA really is a war. TNA iMPACT! may be shitty at times, but there is no lack of entertainment value. The 2 hours fly by some weeks, this past Thursday was one of those shows that you just couldn't get your eyes off the TV screen. So TNA, good job, this was a great brawl on the best iMPACT! we've seen in weeks.
Now, to the IWF, I never see anyone mention these things in any posts about TNA. This leads me to believe that many of you don't even watch or pay attention to the product, so you have no room to bash it. This company, I will admit, has been in the shitter lately. But right now, with Jarrett, and Mantell leaving, it looks like things could be getting better. Over the past few weeks TNA has been pushing some younger stars, the battle between MEM/WE and the rest of TNA has gotten so heated it has become must see TV, The Motor City Machine guns are back on TV, Joe vs Homicide is scheduled for Hard Justice, and so much more. Sure, there are still some complaints to be made, but I see NOBODY giving TNA credit where credit is due. I hated this company a month ago, but when they do something right, its important to actually give them credit for it. I don't see enough of that on the IWF.
Love TNA, hate TNA, but ADMIT when they do something right, because contrary to what you people think, that stuff happens from time to time.
That is all.
