I just wanna know what you people who won't it to end will do if we pull our troops then the next week there is a big attack on the US from them. I say we fight until they are all free over in the middle east from there leaders because damnit I don't wanna have to see another day like 9-11 again.

This coming from somebody in the US ARMY:Then you'd better be prepared to sign up and trade hot lead with Islam's finest. It's one thing to hope for the best, it's another to expect everybody else to carry the load and not do it yourself. Plenty of Americans have that exact mindset:

"Well...I want to be safe buuuuuuutt...I shouldn't have to do anything about it"

I love how people point out 9/11 yet fail to realize that the middle east goes through that sort of shit every single day. America is my home country and I love it but 9/11 happened once. The middle east is getting fucked up the ass every single day. Innocent people die on a daily basis due to general violence and war.

Yes, 9/11 was terrible but people need to stop looking at the middle east and thinking OMG U ATTACKED US U ASSHOLES and realize that terrorism is something they are faced with daily. They need far more help in stopping violence than America does.

Yeah this is why I don't want the war to stop also cause like I pointed out until there free I say we stay over there to stop there leaders from doing all that and stop people from being hurt over there.

Now to Obama, he is underqualified, and a damn fraud of a person, and after all the things I just listed, how the HELL do you expect a man of what 35 to handle this shit correctly, bottom line is things are goona get worse before they get better, mark my words

I believe he's actually in his 40's.

Regardless, what does his age have to do with anything? It's how he handles the situation. You don't have to be an old man to be intelligent and be able to make good decisions.

I think it is funny how Obama said he will end the war, when he has no clue about anything with war! He isn't ending any war hes just adding fuel to it. Do you think our troops want to pull out of a war prematurely? No. They have been fighting for a reason and to pull out when its not time to is never good. Just ask my girlfriend. The other day I pulled out and I wasn't done, neither was she! Its never a good idea to pull out when it isn't done.

Sarah Palin has more foreign policy knowledge than Obama. We all know that she can see Russia from her house, but people think Obama will save everything overseas because he's black.

yay Mike Chaos.

I didn't get to actually finish my thoughts in my last post so I'll continue it here....

I was actually a McCain supporter, just to throw that out there so no one thinks my thoughts have anything to do with being on Obama's side.

You can't write off Obama when he hasn't done anything wrong yet. A lot of you are and I think it's unfair. You need to give the guy a chance to show the world what he can do, if he can do it. He really can't be any worse than Bush, we all know that, so at least we have that positive fact on our side.

On the topic of colour, I think it's ridiculous that black people suddenly care about who's the president. I think people should ALWAYS care who the president is because that's the guy who will make or break your country. I understand that him being (half) black is a historical thing but people are acting as if he's some kind of saviour. Good for him, he did something no one thought would happen, but let's not get carried away here.

I was listening to the radio the day of the election and the reporter was talking about all the celebrities that would be there for the inauguration and the after parties. The reporter was saying how Beyonce was "so excited" and I couldn't help but think about how her feelings would be totally different if it were a white president.

It should NOT be about colour, it should simply be about change. They did a whole bunch of interviews on TV that night and black people were making comments as if Omaba was going to save the world and rid the world of evil. He isn't some sort of God. He's a human being.

Black people want to be equal yet look at what they turned this presidential issue into. If it's a white guy, oh well, whatever. If it's a black guy, PRAISE THA LORD!!111!!

Holy crap, Mike you were in Iraq?

Anyways, the only problem im having with Obama, is the people around me. Too maybe people think that America is going to end because he's "black" TBH.. I really didn't even recognize him as black, till the day he won it. I always saw him as a person, and I think too many people are taking it too far.

I personally like Obama, will he change America for the good? I don't think so.. we're already in a grave economic wise, and I really can't see him changing anything too dramitic.

Agreed. It proves me right when I casually say that Black Americans (notice I didn't use African-Americans, a title only designated for 1st generation African Immigrants, imo.) are only out to help THEMSELVES in this country. I don't think that was Dr. King's vision. I doubt he wanted the media to keep harping on a man's skin color. And I doubt he envisioned a world where blacks polarized an election based solely on a similar skin pigmentation, which is the world he wished to move AWAY from.

In every election you are going to have people basing things off of race and it was still the same with the blacks/white democrats. The fact of the matter is that there are VERY stupid people out there on any side of a situation. It's the same situation for all of the people that voted against Obama because of his skin color.

Look at the numbers, Chuck. More people voted for him based on his being black than did people against him for being black. Had he not been black, he wouldn't have been propped up like the messiah everybody claims he is.

I just want to say one thing.

People say he can be in the category of people who have changed the world. Not many people have changed the world. Just a few off the top of my head.

Osama Bin Laden
Adolf Hitler
Mao Zedong
Joseph Stalin
Possibly Saddam Hussain.

Now, that's not the best list to be on. The last guy I can think of who's good and has changed THE WORLD, not just where they live, THE WORLD. That's why I'm not throwing out Mandela. That's why I'm not saying Martin Luther King. The last good guy to possibly change the world in my opinion would be 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ.

They actually did a test on the radio at the beginning of the McCain VS Obama situation and the reporter said (on purpose, to test the guy he was talking to, who was voting for Obama): "So what do you thik of Obana's running mate, Sarah Palin?" an the guy said "Yeah, she's great!" The dumbass didn't even know Palin was with McCain. It proved that the guy (who was black) was only voting for Obama because of his skin colour. The guy knew nothing about the election.
