As we all know WWE cuts stars following the WM ppv every year. So who do you think will go this year and why ? I'll give a couple thoughts I got later.

My picks to be released would be:

  • Curt Hawkins
  • Tyler Reks
  • Tyson Kidd
  • Trent Barretta
  • JTG

I don't want Hawkins and Reks to go but I just think WWE might let them go.

I don't think WWE will let Reks and Hawkins go as I feel like they might soon become an important part of their tag team division. As for Tyson Kidd, they seem to want to push him as a face recently and I'm pretty sure they might soon give him a feud on SmackDown.

Kidd, Trent, Hawkins, and Reks are all in seemingly safe spots as top guys on NXT which is better then it sounds.

I think Booty is spot on honestly. I could see Mason Ryan going too.

I know this is a popular theory, but I remember these cuts being rumoured last year and they didn't happen until August.

That said, if I was Ezekiel Jackson, Michael McGillicuty, Evan Bourne, JTG or Trent Baretta I'd start saving some cash whilst I can.

Vince likes to give 3rd Generation stars a little longer plus McG has a big twitter following and is quite well liked in back...I think he is safe

Everyone thought Ted Dibiase was going last year and he ended up okay so I could defo see McG sticking around.

That being said, I'm glad you mentioned Heath Slater. The wrestlemania incident plus the wellness violation could work against him.

If they let go of Kidd that will be a stupid decision, he's pretty well over for a NXT guy.

I can't really see him going, they know he's a great worker and seem like one day they'll want to do something with him.

I forgot about Alex Riley. There are three options for him.

1: They release him.
2: They send him back to FCW. (My favorite)
3: They keep him as a top NXT guy.

Rebuilding him into a new gimmick in FCW would be tough now though so he's most likely going to stick in NXT.

I only see Slater and Bourne being let go. They are really the only fuck ups with the drug suspensions and attitudes.
