It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

With a 14th season looming for the show, which will tie it as the longest running American live action sitcom of all time, I figured this show warrants its own thread. I'm sure there is a thread for it somewhere, at some point in time, but I couldn't find anything within the last few years. Maybe I'm just stupid. But I know there are at least a few Sunny fans on here and I can't see how anyone can watch this show and not enjoy it. There's roughly 150 episodes already produced and presumably 10 more coming out starting September 25th so there's no shortage of content to cover and discuss. I'll sart by posting some of my favorite bits from the show. If you haven't watched Sunny, please partake in these clips and reconsider watching it.

I haven't really watched a lot of the show, so I won't be posting in this thread much more after this. But my old roommate loved it so I'd watch episodes here or there with him and shit definitely looked hilarious. It's been on my list of shows to start for awhile now, but I've been slacking so much the last couple years with it that it might be awhile before I ever get to this or any of the other shows on the list.

I got into the show right before last season, I binged the fuck out of it on Netflix and was excited when last season started and I look forward to the new season as well. Show is really funny and I was mad at myself for not starting it sooner.

I think it was around season 4 when I first gave the show a shot and watched it on FX. I believe it was the "The Gang Cracks the Liberty Bell" episode that I saw that made me realize how good the show was. Then I bought Season 3 and 4 on DVD and watched the shit out of them. Now, I've seen every episode multiple times. Some episodes I've seen at least a dozen times.

@Chris I promise this show is super easy to get through. There are some ongoing arcs and character development but it's not a big commitment to get into. You could even just throw it on at night before you go to sleep or whatever. It's worth the time.

I love Always Sunny, been one of my favorites for years. I think I started watching around the end of season 1 or season 2 but I have a few seasons on dvd that I watched a ton.

Favorite bit without a doubt is the wildcard bit with. Charlie

I think you can start... it gets pretty over the top after season 8. Hell, I'd say don't continue after that point if you dislike the characters but if you didn't like them by that point you aren't gonna get that far.

The show is entirely comprised of purposefully unlikable characters.

If you don't enjoy the setup by the end of season 2, you'll know it.
