Is Matt Hardy World Heavyweight Championship or WWE Championship Material?

Do you think Matt Hardy is World Title material? I keep hearing people say oh Matt Hardy should get a world title push and that he is the most talented Hardy. I personally do not think he is crap but he's not excellent and I can not see him in the ring with people like Batista, Triple H, John Cena and all the Main Event stars. I can not see him ever winning a World Title am I crazy or does someone agree with me?

I think Matt Hardy would do well as WHC. Seriously he has done alot for the WWE from the TLC matches to the fued with Kane or Edge. He has done everythiing asked of him and he is also way over with the crowd. I think both Hardy's are about the same in talent aand they are both excellent wrestler. Matt has more of a chance being the champ than Jeff because Vince probably don't like High flyer and Matt ain't a big high flyer if yoiu ask a die hard Hardys fan

Neither, but if I had to choose...World Heavyweight, he can't championize the A-brand. He just doesn't have the charisma and he's not popular enough as a face, or even a heel to have the main gold.

I agree that he doesn't have enough charisma but he is pretty over with the crowd compared to other faces. I can't think of any but that's probaly because he hasn't been on Smackdown and I can't remember that far back. Anyway I agree that he can't be WWE Champion but it would be good to see another Edge vs Hardy fued.

He will never main event. His mic skills are just barely there and he doesn't wrestle all that amazing. Even if he becomes champ, it'll just be as a transitional one.

i think if he as pushed as an underdog he could be a world champ. he has had some pretty good matches with edge and with kane a few years ago so i dont see why hes not in the main event picture... i think he could be great as a main eventer but they need to push him over mvp in the next few monthes.

You cant really say he cant be champ, because with the right sort of push and build uphe could be. People said Rey Mysterio couldnt be world champ (Even though it was sort of in memory of eddie) but they pulled that off. He isnt terrible in the ring and he can have good feuds (Kane, Edge)

But i think the most he will get is multiple US reigns unless he really pulls of somehing great enough for Vince to push him for the title.

i dont think he is ready just yet. i think he needs to have one more good run as US or IC champion and lose it in a multiple man match or by interference of a main eventer then i think he could go awile whithout a title and take it at a smaller ppv

Hardy has potential, but what seperates his chances from say a Shawn Michaels when taken from The Rockers tag team is charisma. Charisma sells, and neither Hardy have it on the mic. Jeff has more than Matt, but thats his flamboyant ringwork compared to Matts conventional style.

A heel Jeff Hardy might bring something out in him no one ever saw though. Rey Mysterios charisma is all ringwork, and was world champ. Jeff will alwways be second fiddle to Rey when rating high flyers.

I dont think any of the hardys is ready to hold either wwe or whc belts yet agreed that they have paid there dues and been around awhile but while there is still the likes of hhh hbk taker cena edge tista even rey and orton then they aint gunna get to wear either strap yet. Only maybe if its just for a short transitonal period but i think they will have to wait for a bit yet. Even though jeff is getting a massive push at the mo i dont think he will get belt at the end of it

Now y'all know how much I love the Hardys and when it comes to Hardys and World titles, you know the automatic answer for me. NO.

Only way is as transtional and there have been better transtional champions then Hardy.

I think Matt Hardy is a much better heel. Matt Hardy in 2002/2003 was really funny, and had some nice programs with Rey Mysterio and the Undertaker. I think Hardy needs to go back to being heel, maybe get a run on SmackDown, but I would prefer him being ECW Champion.

He's not WWE Championship material, maybe World Heavyweight material if theres a lot of injuries on Smackdown. Definitely ECW Champion material.
