No, this is probably one of a handful of times at most. It was cheap, but so is this argument in general. It is all a matter of opinions, and yours is clearly in the minority.

I respect your opinions , but was it a crime that I disagreed with it? lol
you guys immediately started bashing my ass instead of having a healthy disscusion.
And to make things even worse, you started mocking my english (which is not good because its not even my mother language)

Nah, nothing to do with HHH/Punk at this point. This thread was just a bunch of old timers ribbing you and you taking it personal. Thicker skin and better sarcasm detection will do you wonders around this place.

If he's the guy fixing the developmental system, revamping the tag team division and giving guys like Punk, Bryan and The Shield a go at the top, I couldn't give a fuck if he's egotistical.

Oh shit guys! He's going to beat Brock! But lets forget about the time that he lost by tapping!

Triple Age beating Punk made no sense considering Punk had a lot of momentum at the time.

Triple H beating or losing to Brock next year won't make a difference if Brock doesn't sign another contract since he'll be gone anyway. But it's still annoying to see Triple H get his win back in a rematch for a feud that already has a perfect ending as it is. Good guys don't always win, and in this case, it shows what a monster Brock is by breaking HHH's arm, HHH swearing revenge - especially after HBK is manhandled and has his arm broken as well - only to be forced to tap out to Brock in the eventual match anyway. Then Brock can go on to a new opponent who can be the one to put him down. Having him vow to break the Undertaker's streak as his final way of saying "Fuck You" to the WWE (since kayfabe wise, he has no respect for the WWE and thinks he's above it), only for Taker to be the one to put him down is a more satisfying conclusion to Brock's latest WWE run for me. Triple H could even get involved, suggesting that Taker should be the one to fight Brock, because he knows what a beast both Brock (whom he lost to) and Undertaker (whom he lost to the last two years in a row) is, and thinks that Taker could be the only one to stop Brock at this point.

HHH is such a nice guy, he even allowed that ungrateful fag Punk to kick out of the Pedigree twice. :bury:

No, but seriously now. Before entering the thread I hadn't thought about the positives of HHH winning that match, which I didn't really care about then probably because I'm a mark. Yes, a part timer ruined Punk's momentum who was the hottest thing going then but you have to agree that HHH putting him down would show him who's boss, because he's not a company guy at all and complains about everything.

This as well. He lost cleanly by submission, oh my let's kill him and riot he's going to win! And he's really helping WWE behind the scenes.

HHH didn't damage Punk as much as him returning so early, proper made him leaving meaningless (people only cared about Punk via association they really cared about the story, that's why he didn't draw after imo)

True. He was all "oh i'll leave and take your title lol", would he be able to beat Cena? Will he take the biggest prize in the industry away from WWE? Then he wins, wow, he left with it? Two weeks later "jk guys I'm here". :pity1:

Would've marked if every week they showed videos of Punk defending the WWE title on different indies with Vince and Cena going after him trying to get the title. :dawg:

That would've been epic. Too bad WWE is so strict on that.

I agree that Punk came back too quickly, but what else could they have done for Summerslam, one of their big 3 PPVs? Without an answer to that question (a legitimate answer) you can't really be too critical of WWE for bringing him back.

Sure they had booked themselves into a corner at that point, but just having Punk stay away and watching Summerslam buy rates shit the bed isn't exactly a wise business decision either.
