Now I have to go there. You baited me. During Punk headlined PPV's, They are a net negative 31,000 buys.

400,000 viewers have left since Punk's "Pipe Bomb" heard around the world.

Attendance is down from 6,400 durring '09, to 4,900 per event in '11. And 4th quarter results are about to lower every stat previously stated.

So if things are trending downwards, and Punk has this huge "Cult following", where are the viewers? Where are the upward trending tickets sales? Where are the PPV buys?

I can tell you.

They left Punk for history programing. And once they leave, as seen over the past 11 years, they dont come back. New fans must be brought in. Thats what happened under Cena in 05-09. Cena translated into 4.3's, up from the 3.6 and 3.7's that the AE hang-overs were drawing.

I will measure Punk to THAT medium standard. "Face" Cena can no-longer do it.
