I mean either way, people were being dumb and blaming them for either the weather or a booking choice by Tony for the last couple of weeks.
yeah people being dumb and hyperbolic about AEW is standard procedure. its what makes discussing genuine criticism so exhausting

It isn't a booking choice though. Remember the Bucks are EVPs. If I were an employee I'd expect my bosses to be at work during normal circumstances.

Obviously people take time off every so often and weather emergencies like Shane Helms's happen but I fail to see an issue with employees wanting to speak with their bosses regarding a work issue.

I honestly think they’re better off in AEW. Has any masked wrestler not named Rey Mysterio had much success in WWE? They’re ultra talented of course but idk if WWE is a good fit.

I think it might be too late to make him anywhere near in the talks close to Mysterio but the personality Penta has is what sets him apart from every single other one they've ever tried

10 years ago, we could've talked about Penta catching Mysterio in terms of legacy but like Chris said, it's a little too late.

But that doesn't mean they can't contribute

While I enjoy both brothers I’ve always found Fenix to be the better in-ring worker and Penta to be the better at character work. I’ve always felt that Penta, while good in-ring, to be slightly overrated in-ring.

Are you turning up to work for free or on your time off? Also pretty sure they have their friends phone number lmao. Again the EVPs are not bosses and the titles have been pretty much proven to just be titles. Omega even said it on a stream. They have no booking power since 2019, they are not in charge of HR. I don't know why people keep forgetting this especially people online. Speak to Christopher Daniels if it is about your contract cause he is talent relations not the Bucks

I mean if it's just talking to friends sure, reading the tweet I read it as more talking to bosses but I'm probably wrong. But Bucks not being there because of a booking decision is weird if they're executive in the company is my point.

Kane says hi. Sure not a Lucha (and is a far-right douchebag) but dude had an incredible career with WWE while masked.

The EVP titles are just titles. They are not executives. Also even executives take time off

Never got the hype with Pentagon's "character", he's just a catchphrase and not even a good one, I remember his promos in Lucha Underground that made no sense.
"You can't beat me because I am Pentagon Jr. and cero miedo !"
At least say "I have no fear" or "Tengo cero miedo" if you want to say it in Spanish lol

Always found Fenix more talented in the ring too but anyway, like someone else said, masked wrestlers in WWE don't work unless they're Mysterio.

I don't think Dave necessarily said they were not there due to booking or insinuated they weren't there because they were told not too. odd thing to speculate or imply tbh
