Interesting tweet from Nia Jax, implying sexual improprieties by higher-ups and talent blackmailing them

So... okay, let me get this right.

She says (/implies):
- a number of female Wrestlers in WWE slept their way to the top
- those who did that are now blackmailing the higher ups to keep their job
- ...and I guess she should've been given "the opportunity to shine like the star she is"

Especially the "...but unfortunately certain higher ups can never see past their own perverted ways." seems weird to me, if that's what she tries to imply, because that could also be just about how WWE non-secretly wants NXT female talent to be "sexier" and they having Mandy Rose as their champion.

If it's true, what she actually wants to imply, it's not THAT huge, tbf. WWE always had those shadows lurking in the closet and heads would roll, if there's any truth to it/if anything comes out. ...also, I would REALLY like to know who Nia is trying to pull into the spotlight here and I don't mean those "higher ups", but rather the talent, because I can't really see Becky, Ronda or Charlotte in that line.

but outside of that, yeah WWE have a history, except in a few cases, of pushing people, men and women, based on their look rather than their ability. No different than Vince being obsessed with big muscular sweaty men. look at the new batch of folks they are pushing.

Fair enough, but that would also mean, if Nia means who I think she means, it's workers like Mandy Rose getting a long NXT champion push and possibly something like Raquel Rodriguez getting on the Main Shows, while someone like Dakota Kai gets released. ... because otherwise, it wouldn't make sense to talk about people getting the opportunities they deserve, since the Main Show title scene consists, except for Bianca, of women who are in the main roster for years now.
...and if that is the case, it could also be just a case of what Smark said in this thread. A woman accusing other women to make "unmoral" agreements with higher ups to advance in their careers, because there is no other way they'd get those pushes.

yeah I think she's taking a regular wwe trope (pretty ppl get more shots) and trying to apply it to herself, not realizing a few things:
1) her lineage played a big part in her push
2) her own look played a big part in her push, she's pretty, and shes large, two thinks they wanted to capitalize on
3) her own ability was dogshit
4) the reason she got let go is much more likely a combination of her attitude issues, bad wrestling but even more likely , Doudrop is cheaper and less of a headache and fill the same slot/role
5) she forgot she got called up before much more deserving females.

so while, yes, people could say pretty ppl get ahead faster (herself included) , none of this applies to her getting cut lol

I’m not a stan and a few years ago didn’t get the hype on her attractiveness, but I do think she’s putting in the work on her character and whatnot down in NXT. I’ve liked it.
