8 guys is too much, kind of a cluster fuck, six is better, Bryan should win he might elevate the title and plus I am tired seeing go after the world title. He needs to stay fresh.

Cena at least has other things like merch sales, house show attendance, etc. to justify his popularity. I know Reigns is early into his push, but still, it's a funny scenario regardless.
only the nerdiest of nerd fans know dick about merch sales or house show attendance. Crowd reaction is all most fans go by when talking about popularity

The hatred of Cena made many "smarky" fans to label a bunch of german suplexes as a legit MOTYC, as Brock beating his ass became a draw on it's own. Does Reigns have anywhere near this kind of "heel" heat? No, seems like if you take the booking out of it, the fans like Roman. Don't love him, but WWE thinks they're lining up at the altar for him.

Anyway, LETS CLIMB A LADDER TO RACE TO THE BOTTOM!!! If Ziggler and Ambrose are involved in the IC Title scene, at least with a Ladder Match they'll leave without looking like complete assclowns for a change! :bodallas: Also, Wrestlemania has something exciting on it! :bodallas:

It doesn't matter whether most fans know it or not, fact is Cena is still the company's biggest money maker and the reason for it is because live audiences comprise only a fraction of the overall fan-base, and Cena does have a large fan-base of his own. That's the very reason he wasn't turned heel a long time ago. Besides, if you wanna bring up the audience, just look in the crowd and you'll see that on almost any given night, there's more people wearing Cena merch than anything else.

If Reigns doesn't pick up any steam on the merchandise front, if he doesn't start to move ratings, if he doesn't affect house show business and if he doesn't gain back a lot of his positive crowd reactions either, then the company will eventually have to admit that he isn't "The Guy" and thus what didn't happen with Cena back then will likely happen with Reigns, and that's an eventual heel turn. They'll stick with him for a year, maybe more, but otherwise....

Bryan, DZ and Ambrose are all moving on to even shittier things? Shocker.
Yeah man, nothing shittier than a kick ass ladder match at Mania. Who booked this shitty shit?

He won't eat the pin, but i'd bet anything he won't win.
They need to push this whole "I'm Dean Ambrose, they call me unstable, get me DQ'd every 2 freakin' seconds but now I'm going to beat the shit out of Barrett and defend the IC title with my life" thing they had going on in the after-PPV and after-RAW promos that once again, should've been on TV. I would get behind that, and finally Ambrose gets his victory at WrestleMania and starts a winning streak.

I wish I could be as optimistic as you are for this one.

Hopefully the build-up to it can change my mind about it and hopefully the new champ doesn't become 'Mr. Irrelevant' after winning it on the grandest stage of 'em all.

After WM30's initial buildup for the IC title tournament, I thought it was happening. The title was becoming relevant. Then, Ziggler. Harper? Probably not. Barrett came back, though. Nothing. Even worse. But now it seems as if with so many top guys in the midcard, WWE can build up the IC title for good. I'd like to see an X-Division like IC title PPV where they can trade it in for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

I'm all for Ambrose going over these nobodies at WrestleMania, even if it is for the IC title.

And if he wanted to be a REAL Lunatic and really stake his place in history, he could dump the IC Title in the trash on the way out the door! :yay:

And then resurrect the Hardcore Championship in it's place!

OK, I wouldn't really wish or desire for that to happen (mainly because I don't wanna see them revert back to over-saturating the show with hardcore matches every week), but if they ever DID want to resurrect the Hardcore Championship, Ambrose would be the perfect guy to do it - just book him to win the Intercontinental Championship and then have him either toss it in the trash or have him physically destroy it (the old Hardcore Title from the Attitude Era was made to look like it consisted of broken remnants of the WWF Championship, this one could simply be of the IC strap.), the result of either scenario being that he reintroduces the Hardcore Championship in it's place. Ambrose and his mentally unstable character would make a perfect fit for the hardcore division, especially since he would no longer has to worry about getting himself disqualified for going too far in a match.

I may be alone in this (I'm not, but....hell, go with it), but I think this has the potential to be a tremendously entertaining match, particularly with only 6 guys in it, although I'm okay with 8).

It also says something that we could have a championship lineup coming out of 'Mania that features John Cena, Daniel Bryan, and Roman Reigns (fanboyism aside, it's hard to argue that, despite the fact that Reigns would be the World Champ in this scenario, that Cena and Bryan are far more recognizable to the average WWE fan at this point....not saying he won't be a cornerstone of the future, as I've said he probably will be in the future, he's just not there yet).

Still, the match itself, no matter who walks away with the title (although I would predict Bryan at this point, unless they put Sheamus in the match to cost him the title), would be entertaining as hell.

Does anyone remember just watching wrestling and just enjoying it and not second guessing every little thing? Did you watch wrestling as a kid? I hope as a kid you weren't worried about the build up to a match and if it's how you, MASTER INTERNET BOOKER, would book it? Excuse my French & with all due respect yadda yadda, but seriously how about shutting the fuck up and just enjoying WrestleMania and a sweet ladder match?
