I don't like RVD going over Joe but i guess TNA wanna keep the BFG series close or just keep Storm and Joe close.
lol @ the promo with the junkie whore she's suppose to be pregnant and not off any type of stuff like that but in the promo she's holding a Cigarette.
Kaz saying "this is just the beginning" UGH!!!! C'MON NOW last nights match was a perfect way to end this feud. Or is this just gonna lead to KAZ/AJ for a fucking year long feud. This storyline is bad, but it's one of those things where I just want to see how ridiculous it can get. Why? Because I want to laugh at the stupidity it brings. I wonder when they will start bringing AJ's wife and kids on TV.
I like how they had Dakota cut a backstage promo on how he's pissed off at Zema's actions for almost ending the career of Jesse Sorensen. If it wasn't clear already, it appears they are going to be padding this Zema/Jesse thing until Jesse returns. For the time being, Zema will continue to reign in the X Division. UGH!!!!
I loved the Aries promo where he really put the belt over. And also talks about he got messages from celebrities, NFL stars, and even world champions from other companies. I would like to think he was talking about CM Punk here, but who knows. Aries wants to lead TNA to the next level, but Bobby Roode interrupts. And he goes Bobby goes full blown upset mode with Aries and having trouble getting his anger expressed properly. His angry sputtering is pretty funny, and he finally gets out that Aries was a fluke. Aries just laughs it off and has three words for Roode "new world champ." Roode is irate going up the ramp, screaming and slapping himself in the head and whatnot. GOOD SHIT.
Sting and Hogan are discussing their options for going old school against the masked men, but Devon and Garrett come in and pledge their allegiance to Team Hogan. Then things go from worse to awful We get a recap of Madison Rayne kissing Earl Hebner. We get a video of her talking about him. She says he's intelligent, it's not uncommon for a younger women for an older man, and they have a lot in common.
Brooke Hogan was on commentary for the Tessmacher vs Gail match. You can tell she's really 'excited' about her job. Tessmacher wins this match with a flying elbow. Match was a mehh I'm just not interested in what the KOs are doing at the moment.
The Anderson/Angle match was solid and both guys had a good showing for 10 minutes. This was the longest match of the night. Angle seems to have caught a shot to the mouth because he's got blood dripping out of his mouth as the referee raises his hand. That's pretty badass. Angle now moves up to third place behind Samoa Joe and James Storm. **1/4
Bobby Roode goes to Hogan, looking for his rematch. Hulk offers him the match at Hardcore Justice, but that’s not good enough for him, so Hulk tells him to call Aries out at Open Fight Night next week and prove that it was a fluke. Sting comes out to do things old school and wants Hogan to come out as well, but Hulk is missing. And indeed, we cut to the back, where the Aces & 8s have laid Hulk out in his office. And then another gang of masked men do the same to Sting in the ring to end the show.
I really hope Aries doesn't drop the belt next week but i got a feeling he will. The Aces & 8s angle is pretty cool so far, i love the name but i really don't want to see Hogan and Sting in a tag match of a PPV. Unfortunately, it's that mystery factor that makes me think TNA will screw this up by bringing in someone uninteresting.... like Eric, Jeff Jarrett or Scott Steiner. Well, let's hope that isn't the case.
