iMPACT Wrestling 27/06/13 *SPOILERS*

1. Suicide defeated Chris Sabin and Kenny King to win the X Division Title. Lots of back and forth action. Suicide used the ropes during the pin and shocked everyone by winning the title. Hulk Hogan came out and announced that the real Suicide had been jumped and a different Suicide won the title. The fake Suicide ran away through the crowd.

2. Adam O'Reilly defeated Brian Howe in a Gut Check match. The Adam guy won and no one cared.

Sting came out and introduced Kurt Angle. They cut a promo about the Main Event Mafia and destroying Aces & 8's. They said we would meet the newest member of the Mafia later tonight.

3. Magnus defeated Bobby Roode in a Bound For Glory Series match.

James Storm and Gunner were interrupted by Robbie E, who has a bromance with Jessie Godderz. Storm calledTara a butterface, and Gunner knocked out Jessie.

4. Mickie James defeated Velvet Sky to retain the TNA Knockouts Title. Velvet cried during an interview.

5. Samoa Joe vs. Mr. Anderson in a BFG Series match. Aces & 8's came out. Angle and Sting came out. It looked like Samoa Joe was the newest member of the Mafia.

Hulk Hogan came out to find out who the impostor Suicide was from earlier in the show. Bully Ray joined him since there's a chance he would have to face the X Division Title holder at Destination X. It turned out that fake Suicide was Austin Aries, who said he he is going to take Ray's TNA Title.

I thought Suicides character was supposed to be a mystery, so surely Hogan shouldn't know who the real suicide is but if that is the case, then why not just reverse the decision?

If the result does stick, then I wonder if they will take Aries out of the BFG series given he'll get a shot at Destination X and possibly win the title.

The New Main Event Mafia sure is looking pretty damn new huh :hm:

Why is there no logic in TNA?

When Hogan came out I expected to read that he would reverse the decision and restart the match. Why would he allow the finish to stand when the guy had his feet on the ropes and when it was a different wrestler under the mask? Hogan is meant to be the onscreen power figure yet he lets that slide.

MEM is ruined already. Angle in the group makes no sense at all and just ruins the promo that Sting gave announcing the reformation of the group. I thought we were supposed to see a new group since the current TNA group didn't help him?

On a positive note good to see Magnus starting off with two wins.

MEM's theme song is horrible. Don't remember it being that bad years ago.

Hopefully there's some good BFG matches last week that don't end in disappointing fashion like Joe/AJ last week

Caught some of the replay, guess the kid is Suicide. He seemed to have had his ass beat in the back, which would be the reason Hogan even knew that it wasn't the real Suicide.

Probably Hardy anyways.

This was my first Impact in a while and I quite enjoyed it.

The like of logic and dumb storylines is what let it down, but most of the wrestling was solid.

Highlights for me were The X Title match, Mickie VS. Velvet and Roode VS. Magnus.

Have to say found Taz and Tenay annoying most the time. Same with Storm during his promo.
