Why start another argument? Tired of this Bryan shit, he just doesn't fit in the WWE.

There is not one argument in this thread, I've seen alot of guys hating him and was wondering why.

Most of it to me is more creative hate than Daniel Bryan hate. But his promos just aren't very good. They're all forced and nonconvincing, he doesn't seem comfortable on the mic, and usually he gets outshined by the Big Show. He's a pretty good worker, but not even close to what I hear on here.. but I didn't see him in ROH either.

But the booking of D-Bryan is incredible. Are we really supposed to boo 200 pounds of Daniel Bryan walking into a steel cage with 900 pounds of Big Show and Mark Henry, right after his girlfriend was run over by a glorified truck? And other than that, they're just throwing stuff against the wall and seeing if it sticks.

I think the opposite, the only good thing in his feud right now is him. Big Show is diabolical on the mic, diabolical in the ring and needs to actually make the other wrestler look good. As for Bryan's ring ability, come on, he's had to carry matches for months now. He's not being put against guys who can wrestle. His match was Punk was great until that stopped. I can't wait for Bryan vs Ziggler. Bryan vs Orton this Friday should be great too.

Even with the booking he's had, he's getting great heat.

Reviving this thread since Daniel Bryan hate just keeps popping up in threads.

Agreed on the "he's the great worker" part, maybe it was just high expectations since the bandwagon was so big at the time. The feud itself, well, you know my thoughts on it by now.

Somebody please explain why this gimmick works at all. This week, anyway (since it changes from week to week), he just seems like a generic cocky-yet-chicken-shit heel combined with 2010 CM Punk (the getting-in-feuds with random mid-carders who are just upset that he won't shut up) and whatever they are trying to do with A.J. Lee. They teased at first that he was going to be a cocky heel who could actually back it up and beat you clean, and isn't afraid to take you head on (although would win dirty every now and then). If they would have stuck with that it would have been a great character in today's WWE, and it would have suited Bryan perfectly.

Because, Daniel Bryan, (WWE Wise), is a fail. I never liked the guy, and he is absolutely terrible... I really hate it, because outside of the WWE, the guy has major ring skills, and abilities...

No idea why it works, but my theory is because of Bryan. As a heel, you love to hate him. A small guy with an annoying beard being cocky, it's so like real-life. He gets tons of heat which means the people facing him get double the usual amount of pops. The booking has been terrible, we've seen the coward-heel so many times. Isn't that what Ziggler is now? The show-off coward heel?

Bryan has his own spin on it I suppose by being the manipulative coward heel, since he's manipulating AJ. Is that meant to get him more heat? No one cares about divas any more.

He's the WHC and is receiving the most heat in the company at the moment. So I don't see your point really.

I'm gonna shoot on you.

Look I don't hate you. I don't even dislike you, I do like you. I like you more then most people on this forum. I just hate this idea that you're the best because you're not. I'm the best. I'm the best on this forum. I've been the best since day 1 and I've been vilified and hated since then because Crayo saw something in me that no one else saw. Yeah that's right I'm a Crayo guy.

Guess that makes sense, @[Crayo]. It's the truth and nothing else really makes sense... Hope they figure out what they want to do soon.

I can see why people hate Daniel Bryan, because his current character is just not good, IMO. He comes across as the direct Punk 2009 rip-off, and people realize that. Of course, no one can't deny his in-ring skills, but for the Sesame Street world of WWE, he's not the best option for the main event on regular basis, at least not with this kind of booking. His promos are decent, but not very good.

I love DBD, I watch him since 2002/03, and it's a damn shame WWE won't let him be the heel he used to be in 2006. He was one cocky motherfucker, people hated him because he was so good, anything he said - he could back it up in the ring, which just made you hate him more.

And he split, just like I'm splitting. But the biggest difference is that I'm walking away with the whole forum.

Completely agree, I'm tired of Bryan feuding with Show for no reason. I'm tired of watching Big Show 8 WHC matches in a row. I want to see Bryan against another decent wrestler and beat him cleanly to put him over further. Imagine how good Bryan could be at that badass small guy who knows he's good.

Glad to see everyone is in agreement here. Keep the current cocky character, except a lot less cowardly as the guy can back it up in the ring... It honestly sounds like Triple H minus the roids and actually making the other superstar look good in the process... Boy, that would be some really good TV.

Bryan's character has gone stale quickly. He was supposed to be some super smart mastermind heel and not a generic chicken shit, but he's just a chicken shit at this point intentionally getting DQ'd, there is nothing about it that makes him come off as smart. Up until ~3 weeks ago he was much better off, before he started having to get in his quota of 5 vegan mentions per on screen appearance. I really couldn't care less about the story with AJ. Yea, he's going to dump her and say he never loved her and get boo'd heavily sometime soon, woopty goddamn doo. Unless he throws her ass in the crossface it won't do anything for me. Idk how many times WWE thinks they can book him as the underdog heel against gigantic faces, but it was stale months ago. The M Bison gimmick was funny the first few times I saw it, but at this point I just want to change the channel when I see his stupid ass continuing to do it week after week. Oh and I thought everybody taps? Has Bryan made one person submit during his title run? Seriously? I don't understand how everyone is in such awe of him at this point in time. His abilities, past ROH greatness, and all of that aside, he just isn't doing shit for me the way WWE is booking him into the ground
