If I may shift the thread a little bit. Going off WWE's current theme of pushing young talent, who would you have holding the belts if the stipulation of "never held it before" was involved?

WWE Title: Sheamus

WHC: John Morrison

US Title: Paul Burchill

Womens and Divas: Natalya and Katie
I suppose the rest would be the same...

I'm not an HHHater or anything, nor do I have a problem with long title reigns, I prefer them actually. But there were a few who got buried to shit while he was champ during that period.

I don't think people necessarily got buried during HHH's reign, but more as people who would have benefited from beating HHH didn't. RVD didn't got buried, but him beating HHH after No Mercy would have been good. Booker T winning at Mania as well. Orton not losing at Unforgiven.

Arguments for Steiner or Kane are shit tbh.

Yeah the Goldberg/HHH feud was honestly one of my favorite HHH feuds behind the usual feuds (Rock, Austin, Foley, Orton etc.)

And fuck Regal. If he's not champion is for himself. WWE was more than willing to turn his midcard ass into a main eventer in 2008 and he got himself suspended, so screw him quite frankly.


If the stip is new champions:

WWE: Ted DiBiase

WHC: McIntyre (bring back McMahon, Patterson and Brisco and make him a Corporate Champion)

IC: Ziggler

US: Swagger

ECW: Bourne or Ryder

The highest regal will get now is the ECW title. Mind you in 08 a transitional champion would have been ok for him.

To retirement. It isnt as if he's making his guns in the business.

Like I said, he blew his chance. After the Attitude Era, he really wasn't that over. Somebody in WWE decided to push him and gave him GM prominent role, King of the Ring and possible future push with The Game for the WWE Championship. He gets himself suspended and ruins his chances.
