Reading everything that has recently been posted, I think I know where Kota is coming from. Think Kota is tired of the toxicity and "darkness" in New Japan and how a lot of goes unpunished especially if you are in the "inner circle" for lack of a better term. Basically, Kota is tired of bad people doing bad and receiving so punishment for it, but those who do good/are normal then they get the can.

yeah we can probably all relate to that bullshit in some way or another. I'm sure its amplified in wrestling too, so I can see why he seemingly, atm, wants to quit it all and has no interest in doing anything. as you said, sounds like he's hit is tipping point and cba

The main thing is that I just hope Kota comes out okay because if he keeps this going then I have clue what will happen. I do wonder who he thinks should been the inargul champion if not him

that part is weird, im not sure if hes saying he didnt wanna be the first or if he just think the idea fucking sucks overall (which i agree with, bring back the IC and OG this belt sucks lol)

if not him then idk, that came at a time where NJPW wanted to push him as the next Okada for what seemed like the forseable future. odd he doesnt seem like thats what he wanted

Yeah, if he was saying that unifying the two was dumb then he basically said what almost every New Japan fan so.

True, and mentioned before I think New Japan was making him either the next Okada or even Tanahashi aka a new ace, and maybe he didn't want to be such but they told him you have to or else.

Also, not to make light of this, but what if in the end this was part of the grander arc of the golden lovers storyline
