It was still a Wrestlemania match, regardless of how terrible people think it was. I do agree it's too early for these speculations to be floating around. But I really wouldn't be surprised. They money would be there as he is still known. He still has a fanbase that does continue to grow as today's generation of parents are watching old wrestling stuff with their kids and so on. There would definitely be money made, all a matter of how he's booked. I just want to see him walking through the backstage area with a police escort. That was always boss.
Why the fuck would you hype a guy returning by showing one of the biggest let down matches in recent history? That just doesn't make sense. Why didn't these newz sites say his DVD? Makes more sense.

Also Goldberg is old, hasn't wrestled since 04 and hasn't done anything of merit since leaving. What exactly is the advantage of this guy? A few smarks chanting Goldberg because they can't accept anyone with muscles shaving their heads? Nope, not buying it.

Don't know why that wouldn't have done that this year if that was the intent. They had three game versions last year Rock Punk and SCSA so why couldn't they have done Warrior Goldberg? Goldberg wrestling would have been the better get. Don't see it happening Streak is dead so who would he face?

Even if Goldberg hasn't wrestled in 10 years, you have to realize (from what I could guess - don't take this as fact) that he is in great shape for a 48 year old. I don't think he would come back and be gassed like Batista, not saying Goldberg could effectively run a 45 minute match, but I don't think hes injected his body with crap to bulk up and has come to rely just on pure bulk for movie roles/returns. I remember reading an interview with him a while back where he explains his diet and workout/exercise routine so I wouldn't say right away anyway that he would come back and not be able to go or be remarkable. He'd need to be with someone to carry him and play the counterpart to his powerhouse and lead the match along nicely, but I don't think he would be as bad as, well, Batista.

The one thing I've always read to be the main problem is the money. He wants far too much money.

Wasn't he asking for 12 mil at some point? I read that somewhere. Still don't take it as fact, but I read it.
