Lashley was still a force to not mess with. Beating Lesnar, Omos, and Karrior Kross all within the time between Summerslam and Royal Rumble, he needed a challenger.
Enter in an NXT Callup .... Jacob Fatu. Fatu signed in late 2021 after MLW lost a lot of money. Fatu would began demolishing anyone in his path. His rampage continued to Elimination Chamber, where he entered the Chamber along with Jinder Mahal, Karrion Kross, Drew McIntyre, John Morrison, and Keith Lee. Fatu picked up eliminations over Mahal, Morrison, and McIntyre, before meeting Keith Lee in the Final Two. After a hard hitting battle, Fatu was the last man standing in the Chamber. He was going to Wrestlemania to take on Lashley
Alumni Match
An Alumni Battle Royal was announced for the Mania Pre-Show, set to feature names who have stepped into WWE Before that aren't active competitors. Names like Kane, Chavo Guerrero, Danny Basham, Tommy Dreamer, Rob Van Dam, and even Alberto Del Rio circulated the net to be in this match. Twitter Posts, Youtube Videos, and even shows on Raw confirmed people. Carlito, Santino Marella, JTG, Chris Masters, Rikishi, Chris Hero, and Erick Rowan were all set for this match. The biggest announcement of all came from the week after Elimination Chamber, when for the first time since 2004, Scott Steiner stepped into a WWE Ring to announce himself for the match. The Viper vs The King of Bros
After the fight at the Royal Rumble, tensions kept rising between Riddle and Orton, leading to Orton turning on Riddle to cause them to lose the Tag Titles (to LHP) at Elimination Chamber. After a chaotic brawl backstage, a match was made between the two for Mania, set in a Steel Cage!
The HBIC's Time
The women's Rumble featured "Raw Women's Champion" Becky Lynch, "Mrs. Money In The Bank" Liv Morgan, and Mia Yim in the final three. After Morgan eliminated Becky Lynch from the rumble, Yim and Morgan were the final twp. After 8 minutes of fighting, Yim clotheslined Morgan out of the ring to be crowned as the 2022 Royal Rumble Winner! Mia Yim would beat both Doudrop and Charlotte Flair in the weeks to come, before making her Wrestlemania Decision. She was gonna challenge Becky Lynch. She was interrupted by Liv Morgan though, who congratulated her. But Morgan said that since she's Mrs. MITB, she was cashing in on Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania.
Confusion insued, until Lynch came out. She accepted both women's challenges, but said she wanted each of them One of One. So, there would be Two Raw Women's Title Matches at Wrestlemania! One against Liv to kick off the show, and one against Yim near the end of the show. If Liv won her match, she would take Becky's place against Mia Yim. The matches were set!
Kross vs McIntyre
Since Kross didn't have a Mania match, he made one. Choking out McIntyre after a match with Miz, Kross made his Wrestlemania Ambitions known. McIntyre faught back though, sending Kross through a window with a Claymore. Things became heated fast, and a match was set.
Phenominal vs Unstoppable
AJ Styles was picking fights with legends and alumni showing up on Raw, wanting matches. Eventually, he got one, from a man called Goldberg. After Spearing Styles following an argument, Goldberg accepted the challenge. Beating Omos at Elimination Chamber, Styles and Goldberg made it very clear they weren't going down at Wrestlemania.
