How Would You Run TNA?

As in who would you get rid of, who would you bring in, who would you book in a feud? Who would be your champions be? What other things would you change about TNA?

Kind of speaks to the way this company is structured and the people who run it, when the only threads about it are how to fix it and what would you do right.

TNA kind of dropped the ball with Roode/Storm maybe it will be nice when Storm comes back but WWE always seems to have a huge feud of sorts for the Summer planned out. Something TNA should have done with these two. If I was running TNA that is at least what I would have going on since Storm isn't legit hurt.

Then I'd make sure Styles and Joe always have top notch matches on PPVs since they are the best workers in the company. Well, Joe is period the best worker when he wants to be and decides to hit the gym more often.

I'd only use people like Kurt Angle now to build new talent his current feuds are just rehashes with people he is familiar with because of his current injury. It's pretty much a waste of time and doesn't build towards the future at all. He should just be off TV until he's healthy then I'd probably have him put over someone like Aries who is fire right now.

Also, I would keep Bully Ray in brawls because his brawls on PPV have been tremendous.

Seriously, just work towards the workers strengths on the roster and let them do what they do best. It's not rocket science, however I doubt I could personally turn TNA into a success since I have no business background.

I would put the title on bully Ray, seriously the guy is the best heel in that company and is better at drawing heat than Roode, and Roode is the only guy on that roster I actually liked.

It would be time for the sloppy wrestlers like Pope, Hardy, RVD and Anderson to go.


I need to make some more main events cause the only two legit ones are Roode and Storm, so while i'm looking for those guys i would have these two feud for a whole year with every month things getting more intense and violent.

The X division needs to be brought back to the level it was during 03, 04, 05. So that means i have AJ, Daniels, Joe, Aries hell it's time to bring in guys from the indies who can work to and make this the main focus of the company (the must see, like how the cruiserweight was for WCW)

As for tag teams idk cause all the company has is the MCMG, so i would have to hire the Bucks back maybe some of the X-division jobbers that are pretty garbage and make them into a tag team.

The knockouts is pretty solid and i think they are doing fine.

Kurt Angle would be used to build guys and to work a light schedule so i know he's not going to kill himself every night. Bully needs something big IDK what it is but i know he needs mic time every week maybe the TV title. It's time to build Abyss back as the monster, cause TNA is missing that MONSTER/KILLER that he once was.

Bully ray would have world title and be feuding with storm,aj. Samoe joe would be being built up as a monster to challenge ray at bfg. Daniels would be in main event picture along with aries.

Hate making tl;dr posts but this will proll end up one.

First off get rid of Hogan and the Bischoffs. Yeah, I know, thats such a stereotypical IWC mark answer, but it's true. Hogan has looked out of place in the rinky dink TNA arenas since day 1. He's the biggest star in wrestling history and needs all the WWE's fancy production to make him look good now. Said it for ages, WWE is the only company that knows how to use him. Short feuds, big names. As for Bischoff, well the GM/authority figure in wrestling is a played out role. Doesn't help that TNA has about 50 of these 'authority figure' characters at one time. Dixie, Sting, Hogan and Bisch. Who is actually running the show in kayfabe now?

It's disgusting how they threw away their tag division. Fair enough, some things were out of their control, ie; MCMG getting injured, needing to push Roode/Storm towards the World title, plus splitting up Team 3D has been one of the best moves in recent memory. But still, it's no better than the WWE's tag division now, which is a shame. Build that shit back up.

Cut the deadwood like Elijah Burke, who was never a star and never will be. Make room for a couple of signings, the names are obvious, usual suspects and all.

Bring back Vince Russo. At least when TNA was shit with him in charge, it was comically bad, not wanting to kill myself from depression watching it like it is now. Needs a shot of life injected into the storylines, everything seems so bland and serious like ROH. "grrrr you have my title I want revenge".

I'd fire ones like Bully Ray. Those guys only scream keep their opponents in the ground stomping them. DAMMIT! I want to have a wrestling company.

I'd build more main event superstars and start giving them more opportunities. I'd have more top guys, not just 5 who fight at 3 PPVs in a row.

I'd focus the whole company pn X Division. X Division used to be what made TNA special. I'd grab guys like Styles, Kaz, Daniels, Aries, etc and hire some talent from DGUSA.

For the Tag Team Division. I don't really know. I'll keep on producing 5 star TT matches with MCMG, Mexican America, INK INC., The Young Bucks (back from RoH).

Knockouts are doing pretty good, I don't know what I'd change. Knockouts are given some solid air time and they know how to use it.

I don't know about anybody else, but I'd bring back Petey Williams. He was awesome. Maybe bring back the International Wrestling Olympics that TNA used to do.

lol International Wrestling Olympics? It was the World X Cup, I think, but IWO sounds pretty legit. That would involve having to use more than one or two X-Division stars, so as long as Hogan is around, that's not happening.

Best thing they can do is get rid of Hogan and Bischoff (both of them). Have Prichard be head guy, bump Lagana down to something else, or fire him because since he's been doing more after Ring Ka King was over, it's been pretty shitty. When Prichard was promoted heady guy around last October or so, TNA got pretty damn good until about March this year when Lagana started doing more.
