I had a GBA, but the only games I had were a Fire Pro Wrestling and one of the Legend of Goku's. Not sure where the games are, but the GBA is around somewhere.

Ahh, you got the good stuff. I never got into the hand held gaming other than when pokeman originally came out.

I have always been a fan of Japanese RPG's, and turn based strategy games, both of those game types are typically better offered on handhelds these days. Ive also had every Nintendo Handheld(except 3DS as I am waiting to find it used on the cheap). There were a lot of family trips when I was younger, so the Gameboy was a great device to have, even if I only played Tetris, Dr. Mario, and Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

Hell ya! I loved gameboy. Did you have that little cord that connected you and a friend to battle and stuff? It was so cool, and funny becaues you had to be RIGHT next to eachother

Yeah, but outside of Tetris almost everybody I knew had different games for that brick. Worked out well that we didn't need to have large collections of games to be able to play a variety of them.

I enjoy it, I use my X1 about double the amount but I treat this gen the same as last pretty much. Single player on Sony and Multi on Micro; Live for me has always been a better platform and now that we have to pay for PSN with plus I don't feel psn is worth it. every speed test and download comparison I do Live uses 90% of my speed while PSN uses less than 40% and just slow. Kinect sports rivals/ Titanfall most played x1 games and MLB the show most played ps4 game.

Picking up Murdered on PS4 and EA UFC gamefly on both, will be a telling game for which console I'll play on more through the summer, still have a few free months of Plus.

Yea, the xbox kills in multiplayer compared to psn, but I just cant get into it. Ive had a playstation in some fasion my entire life. I am pretty much just like that one PS4 commercial where the kid grows up with ps1-ps4. I only got the xbox just to try it out, but still ended up on ps. Sidenote: Titanfall looks insane!

I swear those little cartridges could play on for DAYS, they had so much gameplay in such a little square. Either that or I just sucked at video games back then too lol

That grey brick was honestly the most impressive console I have ever touched. Graphics by todays standards are horrible, but back in the day seeing that monochrome device kill the Tiger hand held video games, and create a new market was beyond compare to anything in the line of video games to come even to this day.

I just wish that the GB, & GBC versions of Tetris(or Tetris DX) would have counted for the world leader boards, asides from Thor(the kid who won the Nintendo World Cup) I never knew of anyone else who had seen level 30, with more than 310 lines.

Well because the graphics sucked they actually had to develop gameplay. As for tetris, I still play that game to date.. I think I got to lvl 17 one time lol

I used to work security, so before my first shift I ran out and got a GBC with Tetris DX, and Wrestlemania 2000. I played Mania like twice the entire time I owned it, but Tetris was always in the machine. I still play it on my friends NES(well technically it was my grandparents, but he had the collection of existing games). I can't top lvl 25 on the NES, but that GBC game kept records of my gameplay, and seeing 318 lines was insane, I still can't repeat that performance for the life of me.

It was also a time where story was non existent, the only bit you normally had was 1 paragraph in the instruction manual.

It was bad, played like the old Acclaim games for the NES, SNES, or Genesis, but failed at what made those games enjoyable.

Oh im sure. I could only imagine how sucky it must have been. Let me guess, you could powerbomb and run? lol

I LOVED Genisis. I had one forever until in finally broke
