...So he's over with the adults and smarks then?
Not everyone is employed in the company as a wrestler and it's not like he's hogging a spot that a gifted, dedicate ring-worker would otherwise occupy.
Not saying you're one of them, but whilst peeps complain he takes up too much TV time, you're saying he's off screen too much to justify a pay cheque... Personally (rather than impartially), I'd agree with the former. He's been all over the company, all shows, various different roles (Cruiserweight Champ, Vince's teased son, Finlays son/cornerman, Chavo's nemesis and now DX's mascot) and as I've said seems prepared to take a pretty sick bump when called upon.
I guarantee he's had more screen time and taken more shit than any GM you care to mention and they've not got over 'the hard way'...
Indulge me; what more could he be doing to justify a pay cheque?
I'm not saying he shouldn't get paid at all, but, we all know he's getting quite a sum of money for what he is doing. Being in that business, I really doubt he's getting minimum wage, lol. The money he gets isn't even a huge issue for me......but it's still probably more than what he deserves.
My main issue with him (besides him just being plain lame and stupid) is that wrestling could very well do without him. He's embarrassing to watch (though wrestling in general can be rather embarrassing at this point, considering how shitty it's been) and he really doesn't fulfill any kind of important role.
This definetly doesn't just go for him. There are quite a few people (mostly Divas) who are somehow still employed when they bring nothing to the table. Hell yeah, I wont deny that he's taken some nasty hits in the past, but his general role is to just be an annoying midget and, really, what else can he do? They can't really do anything overly serious with him like have him wrestle on a regular basis because a midget fighting a bunch of guys that outweigh him and are 5 times taller than he is would just be ridiculous. Not saying it's his fault that he was born a midget so he's limited in what he can do (unless he was in midget wrestling) but there might be a slight chance I could like him at least a little bit if they used him as just more than some annoying little fuck that harrasses DX and is involved in stupid segments. He gets a few minutes of airtime a week to act like a fool. If they want to make him a manager or something (even though that would be rather laughable for me and not taken seriously) then go ahead and do it. Give the guy something to do that isn't embarrassing for him. If they are just going to continue to waste him, just get rid of him. I doubt a lot of people would be really sad if he left.
That's just my opinion, anyways. Everyone looks at it from a different angle but useless people are just annoying to me. WWE seems to feel the absolute need to have at least one really lame segment a week with him and it's gotten far beyond stupid for me.
