For what it’s worth, WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper wrote online last night that he would take Drew McIntyre under his wing. Piper asked fans their opinions about the idea and said he was going to put some thought into it.

This would be incredible if this were to happen. I was saying that once Punk leaves or if he does leave, McIntyre could seriously push for a high spot on Raw. But now you add Piper to it and it could be scary good. Fingers crossed since I am a huge McIntyre fan.

This would seriously work... McIntyre has done fuck all since going to RAW.

This would give him a boost and it'd work with Piper acting as a heel and a Scotsmen. I'm all for it!

Remember when Piper managed Sean O'Haire? That didn't go too well.

I have high hopes for McIntyre and I think that WWE will eventually get around to using him properly. If they did give him a manager that would be good since it could allow him to focus on his wrestling and character without having to talk. If Piper is just doing this outside of tv then good on him for helping out a younger wrestler.

Considering the WWE have been looking to bring back managers, this one would do wonders for McIntyre. It all hinges on Piper having the time, but also WWE having the balls to do it.

I don't see it happening, but I hope I'm wrong. Either way, McIntyre could benefit from Piper giving him advice.

Piper as a manager could work, as long as he didn't go too OTT and overshadow Drew.

Sean O'Haire was in line for a major push before he got relelased for being a meathead who would rather pick fights than act like a professional.

Drew could learn alot from Piper.

Thanks for clearing that up Deezy because I had no idea about the O'Haire situation. Drew is the exact opposite of that, he doesn't create much problems in the back other than last year when people said they don't want to work with him. Now he has gotten praise from Bert Hart, Kevin Nash, and now Piper wants a try on him. He really has high hopes in my view and Piper could help him. The issue is I seriously doubt that Piper would come back on a weekly basis. I just think there are way too many heels in the WWE today and that may hurt him because he's a born heel. Swagger or Ziggler need to turn face eventually with Swagger more likely. The only rumor I have heard is that by around the fall Ted DiBiase is going to turn face on Rhodes but he isn't really relevant.

This is a good idea. Piper could teach anyone a lot and Drew strikes me as a guy who would soak up all that knowledge. I like this idea a lot.

Piper managing Drew would be interesting, but let's face it, the only problem with Drew right now is that he gets shit for airtime. If Roddy managing him is what it takes for him to get on TV, then I'm all for it. Wait until all these gimmick Raws get over with, and see where it goes from there.

Drew shouldn't even be on Raw, but I guess that would make Smackdown too UK heavy and you need to even it up, like they do with the Mexicans.

Drew McIntyre & Roddy Piper on paper seems like a very good idea, but I honestly think Roddy Piper would steal the spotlight away from Drew McIntyre. I hope that I'm wrong about Roddy Piper possibly stealing the spotlight away from Drew McIntyre, but Drew is still very young and would definitely learn a lot from somebody like Roddy Piper. Drew McIntyre hasn't done anything all that noteworthy as of late, but perhaps teaming with Roddy Piper would help him elevate his career and get him on television and possibly some good matches. Drew McIntyre is talented, but seemed to have a hard time getting over as a heel and teaming with Roddy Piper would definitely help, especially since Roddy Piper was the top villain in the 80's and was a thorn in the side of Hulk Hogan. I think it would be interesting to see where this whole Roddy Piper taking Drew McIntyre under his wing and that's something I'll be looking forward to.
