It's said that Hulk Hogan has not been happy with things in TNA, especially his daughter Brooke's departure. Hogan was not happy with how TNA handled her departure, feeling that they should have informed him first and let him deal with it. Communication between Dixie Carter and The Hulkster may have broken down around that time. The recent Impact Wrestling tapings in Cincinnati was the first time Dixie, Hogan and Eric Bischoff were together at the same time in a while. ProWrestling.net noted that multiple sources have confirmed that Hogan's contract expires on October 1st.
This news, combined with the Hogan mentions by WWE at Night of Champions makes me think Hogan is going back to WWE. Hopefully he's given a Legends contract and only shows up occasionally.

WM30 guest host maybe?

Wait, so Hulk is no longer the all powerful god of decision making in TNA? When did this mutiny take place?

Sting has been featured multiple times in the past few months makes since to acknowledge Hulk to. Their just being smart they're pretending like TNA doesn't exist AT ALL. If they don't exist Sting and Hulk are just like any other unemployed former employee.

Not really sure they needed to talk it over with Hulk first before firing her. They probably knew that he would have tried to talk them out of it or he would have threatened to walk if she was fired. By doing it first and then telling him he had no bargaining power over them.

We will see on October 1st if TNA really want to survive as a company. If Hogan gets a new deal TNA are morons. He hasn't increased ratings or PPV buys and the company has regressed since he arrived. They used to be an alternative but are now simply inferior.

Good, so now Hulk can do a run in at Mania against the Real Americans. Place explodes when the iconic riff of Derringer comes on.

Doubt they needed to and the reasons they didn't are definitely the ones you stated, it's just you'd think they would and I find it hilarious that they didn't.

What I'd like to know is whose running things? TNA under the Dixie reign has had a very specific way of handling things (Brooke after all was hired because she was just a sweet girl) Doesn't seem like a firing Dixie would go for especially with how she knew Hogan would react so whose pushing these issues?

I'm still not sure what people are getting at here. Is Hogan her agent? Not as far as I know, even if he was that still doesn't stop the company letting her go. Brookes an adult and over the age of 18, she was a TNA employee just like Hogan is and therefore its none of her fathers business.

Seriously?

You can't figure out why her father the guy that was basically running the company for the past two would be upset? Why he might feel like he should at the very least be given the courtesy of being told?

But let's put that aside and dissect what you said "I'm still not sure what people are getting at" What people? The members of the forum are just responding to an article. Nobody has said that Hogan should have been told (though I think Chris gets close to it and I can see why he'd like to be consulted) You don't think they told Flair before firing David in WCW? I mean hell it's just smart business to give a heads up isn't it?

Brooke gets fired. Hogans not told about it. He's got money, He's got Fame, He's got Lawyers he could just walk out on TNA and never look back. I'd guess the only reason he didn't is because he's already paying those lawyers a ton of money because of his divorce. When you have family members in a company with other family members especially when one of them is in a position of power it's just good business to give them a heads up. :hhh2:

First off I find it ironic that for a change Dixie has done something which could be considered gutsy and people are still picking fault with it, some people really can't win can they?

As for your second point if Hogan chooses to walk that is his problem, its not as if he has made much difference to TNA anyway. Besides the fact I thought we were all in favour of Brooke leaving? You wouldn't know it.

Am I surprised she's gone? A little.

Am I in favour of it? Yes.

Do I think Hogan should have been informed before hand? Not really.

End of story.
