Like someone else said in this thread, I loved Blood Money; it ranks amongst my favourite all time games.

I finally got Absolution a couple of days ago and have played a little bit. I'm really enjoying it. My only gripe is how heavily-based on the story it seems to be. As Sensei said before me, one of the best things about the older games was how it was all about the missions. This one has levels which are based solely on the storyline, which pisses me off (I could expand on this point but won't do so because of spoilers). It sort of ruins the fun of the game.

That's my gripe with games these days; so many are built round a storyline in order to make marketing the game easier. They try to make games more like movies.

Just picked this up for £5 for on Steam as it was 75% off weekend deal. Thought it would be pretty rude not to at that price.

Ok so i've just finished this game now and I must say that the last few acts absolutely blew donkey dick. Take out 3 armed guards and then place C4 on the door and that's it? Major let down imo.

I thought the storyline for the most part was decent. Limp Dick Lenny and his Dad (I forget his name already) were probably the only two decent characters in the game and while some of the levels were pretty good and gave you several different options to complete them, at times it just felt too samey samey. Take out GuyX, hide body, take out GuyY, hide body etc.

I actually just googled the ending with Diana because I was confused given what happened at the start of the game. It lead me to Hitman forums and it turned out they weren't best pleased with what happened and were ranting about it being a cop out and such. I guess that along with the ending scene of Birdy and the Cop leaves the storyline to continue into the next game.

I am Hitman fan too. The graphics and the challenges work very well for this game. Yes, all non-Hitman fans should watch this amazing video.
