Ladies and Gentlemen, last night saw history made as Sting made his AEW debut, Kenny Omega claimed the AEW Championship from John Moxley before running away to Impact Wrestling and, most importantly of all, the very first ever WPC Divisional Playoff Decider took place.

All three of those events will go down as history being made, but the most historic of all was undoubtedly the members of Wrestling Smarks crowning our AEW Divisional Champion after nine long months of competition.

As a reminder, this playoff came about because Jimmy King, Raidokken, Blaze and Doom were all tied for top spot after the regular season was over and WPC President Jack Tunney made the announcement and now here we are. A clear divisional Champion has been crowned.

AEW TOP 5 2020

Congratulations @Jiminy Christmas you now get the beautiful and prestigious AEW divisional Championship signature that sits at the top of this post as well as entry into the Night of the Champions WPC World Title match on the Royal Rumble weekend.

You will be joined by WWE Divisional Champion @Chris Kringle and Impact Wrestling Divisional Champion @Smark Griswold who have both already earned their way into this prestigious event as well as the NXT and New Japan Pro Wrestling Divisional Champions. Both of whom we will crown over the next two events!

I looked, I'm 11-2 with NJPW...

I'm doing math here, and adding up a lot of other peoples scores. and they are a few people close to me. But I should be able to pull it off as long as I don't fuck up to bad.

Ladies and Gentlemen, just two nights ago at NXT Wargames the WPC roster was in action. The main event saw OMB making his first World Prediction Title Defense against Chris.

Before that the Undisputed Prediction Champion of the World, OMB, would be defending his other title, the Open The Prediction Gate Championship against Doom, HoHo and Blaze.

Across the evening another champion would also be decided, the NXT Divisional Champion for 2020.

So what does this all mean???

OMB failed to defend the Open The Prediction Gate Championship, with Doom and HoHo ending the match tied so we had to turn to the World Prediction Rankings to find the winner. Only to find that both individuals entered the event with a win-loss record of 27 a piece. Doom however has made more predictions overall in the competition....

Therefore

In the nights main event, OMB made the first defense of his second World Prediction Championship reign against former champion, Chris

As you've already seen from the results above, it did not end well for OMB....

To round out the nights results, the three highest scoring none champions that will challenge the NEW Open The Prediction Gate Champion, Doom, at the final WPC event of the 2020 season are: HoHo, King Raidokken and Jimmy King!


And now for the final title on the line at this event, the NXT Divisional Championship.

We have finished the NXT season with a top two that are tied. Raidokken and HoHo both have a win-loss record of 13 and both have made the same number of NXT predictions.

With no big NXT event on the horizon this means that we have to turn to the World Prediction Rankings to decide the divisional Champion

And that wraps up our NXT season and the season as a whole will reach it's climax in just two days when we will not only see our two championships defended and we will not only crown the NJPW Divisional Champion.... but we will crown the WPC 2020 Grand Champion!!! This will all go down at New Japans Super J Cup 2020 -the card will that will go up tonight!
