Somebody tell Lil Wayne to stop making mixtapes. That's two straight mixtapes he's done that are worst of all time status.

I'm 100% serious the guy is regressing rather than maintaining or progressing. All he does is just throw out a bunch of random punchlines with no song subject or anything most of the time. If you can't have the best verse on your own mixtape (J.Cole did) then there is a problem. Best thing he did on the mixtape was his outro which wasn't even him rapping. Not even blind hating the guy as he can sound fine when he's actually rapping about something and not just throwing out useless punchlines to claim hey I'm lyrical. Dude has been boring as fuck for a little while now though and it might be because he's worn himself out rapping on every and any song.

On another note though sure Big Sean's Detroit mixtape coming out tomorrow will wash the bad taste out of my mouth that D4 left.

I've never been more serious in my life than in that post. Lil Wayne is straight up garbage. Tries to put a new spin on the same old shit on every song... he's never successful. That being said PHX, usually when J. Cole gets a feature he does steal the spotlight. The only time I've seen J. Cole take a back seat to anyone was on Enchanted from FNL. Omen made that song his with that verse he spit.

I'm a pretty big Big Sean fan so definitely gonna be downloading Detroit.

I've been listening to a little of God Forgives, I Don't to see if I like any of it since it's got some good features and this is definitely the standout track. Andre absolutely killed this one.

That verse Nas put out on Hip Hop might be one of the best I've ever heard though. His voice sounds weird as hell on that song though.

Yeah it wasn't shocking that J.Cole outshined him without trying. Nicki also killed Wayne on his own track on that Mercy track which doesn't surprise me personally as I think she excels in features.

24K of Gold is one of my favorite tracks of the year as is the "100" track. Overall a really good mixtape though some of those track should have been album tracks.
