Yes, Austin, Angle, Brock, Edge (Somewhat), ect. did get big pushes. But as history tells not EVERBODY is slated to get a big push out of it. Again - Mable, Shamrock, Billy Gunn.

Again, Mable, Shamrock and Billy Gunn were slated to get a big push out of it. Hell, they got a big push afterwards, not inmediately a title one, but Mable feuded Taker after it, Gunn entered a feud with The Rock. They all were slated to have big pushes, it isn't booking's fault if they fail getting over.

Still, you have not given an argument of how someone who wasn't nothing before marrying Steph, was already a 5time World Champion, IC Champion and European Champion, or nothing about how he kept himself all the way until NWO in a real title ending feud. That's right, HHH kept himself away from the title, the egomaniac who only thinks in gold, kept himself away from the title from Summerslam to No Way Out.

Well seen as this has turned into another trips bashing/defending thread IL add my bit. Firstly i don't think that Trips will surpass Flairs as 16x Champ.
1st IMO although he still has a few years left in him. Winning the the title another 5/6 Times seems bit far fetched even by WWE standards. He may well get the top strap another 2 or 3 times before he retires from the ring but not another 5 or 6.
2nd The Massive ego thing. If his ego, backstage politics, shagging the boss's daughter and all that shit was TRUE. Hell he would b 16x champ already for fucks sake. apart from that little title run for half a night he ain't held the title for ages, Everyone thought he would win the rumble then at Mania it ain't happened, And it probs wont at backlash. I'm not saying he ain't gonna win it some time soon but a lot of people say he is an ego tripper with all this power.
What has he really done or gained since his return from injury with all this so called power. He held the WWE title for half a ppv which IMO benefited Orton just as much as him made Orton look strong. But for the most part he has put people over and been losing in all the title matches he has been in. I think Trips has took a step back since returning. Yeah he is in the main event scene but he will be he is one of the top draws along with Orton hbk cena.

IMO the power, influence politics Trips has got can also be said of HBK and taker and i would imagine Cena will have some pull also, granted Cena not as much as the others. But it all comes down to working your up the ranks and paying your dues. NOT always coz you are married to the boss's daughter. but hey take taht away and what can people use to bash trips with, i mean its such a good bashing stick LMAO

Well.....Y2J222 says HHH is better than Flair, yes that is true, but lol, so are many others, so thats not saying much! Anywa, yeah, HHH will get to sixteen or more, as well as whats his face (Cena). Pretty sad that Cena has to get to that point, because he isn't as good as HHH I admitt that, hell, he isn't even as good as Batista! But anyway, yeah, HHH will get 16+ Title reigns. And to the person who said HHH was in line of a main event push cause he won, or was going to win KOTR......um, didn't Mable, Billy Gunn & Ken Shamrock win KOTR? Enough said, KOTR doesn't exactly mean you will be a main eventer, did for some, but not all.

King of the ring also killed booker t for me. I hated his king booker gimmick it was so stupid.
