Why? The Cowboys are a team that's won a single game on the road, a game that they'd spent all off-season preparing for no less. They've lost their last two including a beatdown by Chicago at home and a heartbreaker to Baltimore on the road. What possible reasoning makes them a team that goes out there and wins by more than a touchdown or however many points you think they needed to get?

Oh and Steve Young's in the Hall of Fame. I'd say that makes him elite.

Just how I feel. And I'm busting Steve Young's balls. But we wasn't talking about 49er QB's, we are talking about Dallas Cowboys QB's. Therefore the arguement stuck strictly to the fact that Tony Romo isn't elite and he's overated. I can't help Tact's only lousy comeback because he has no facts to back it up so he brings up Steve Young. Which is why he's blocked now. He doesn't know about sports.

Sorry sir, can't read your post. It has been assigned ignored. Well, there's nothing else to talk about as far as this goes. We are all entitled to our opinion and views, mine just happens to have merit behind it, and I have been eliminated from the NFL Survivor. It was nice playing with you guys, good luck.

He doesn't know about sports.
Of course that statement comes from the guy that took an unmotivated and banged up road team against a team at home that had a lot to prove after their loss to Green Bay. No offense meant, but perhaps when you learn a little more about sports you'll be allowed to make that statement and not come across like a sore loser.

Wrong. It doesn't matter how motivated, or unmotivated you are, banged up, not banged up, all stars, or no all stars, anything can happen any given sunday. And, as far as sore loser, and knowing about sports, I think you need to look at my pick em picks before you try and talk to me about sports. I'm quite versed in everything sports Fuji. So, I could care less about the win, or lost. It's a game at the end of the day. Again, that had nothing to do with what I said. I simply said you know they were gonna lose, wow, they actually won. Good for them, they needed the win. But that doesn't change the fact I think Tony Romo is overrated and sucks. Also, doesn't change the fact that I'm not wrong when it comes to an opinion. But an opinion backed by facts is even better.

Personally, I lost fair and square. I thought the Ravens can pull it off. But, this was being debated long before they played, so I dunno where you got sore loser at. Why would I be a sore loser? There was no money bet, it was a good pick and just a bad week for the Ravens. XD

First off, its couldn't care less, not could care less, man do I ever fucking hate that. Second, don't try that idiotic "any given Sunday" shit with me, I've been handicapping pro sports for years and that argument holds no water as far as I'm concerned. The proof here is in the pudding so to speak. If you really knew what you were talking about you wouldn't have picked an obvious loser.

Then again, I've gone 7-0 in survivor and didn't even pick a team I'd used before when I won the first time, so clearly one of us knows what they're talking about here and I'd lay 50 to 1 that its not you. A word to the wise, you aren't the smartest guy in the room, and lame arguments aren't going to change that.

Wrong. I call pure luck. You got lucky. That's it. And, shit you aren't the smartest in the room either. :) And personally, who gives a damn alright? And, Any Given Sunday does hold weight. Just because it doesn't to you once again, is just your opinion. You ain't shob. you think your smarter, I think I'm smarter, I think it's safer to say we agree to disagree. Period. Nothing else to say. There isn't anything you could say to change my mind and vice versa. So, what's the damn point? There is no point. We are just arguing about something that is off topic. I'll tell you the same thing I told Booty, I respect your view, and I personally don't care if you respect mine or not. But you're gonna respect me as a man and human being if anything else. Just like I would do for another man.

So, let's leave it at that, shall we?

Yep, right on dude, I'm lucky, that has to be it. Of course you're saying that to a guy who once wrote a paper titled "A practical approach to removing luck from gambling".

I'm not here to debate anything with you and agreeing to disagree is simply your way of giving up so yeah, we can drop this one safe with the knowledge that you don't really know jack about sports...or at least the gambling side of them.

I humbly await your inevitable long-winded and asinine response that will more than likely begin with the word "Wrong" and go on to call me "son" and include an XD for good measure.

I agree with that. I don't know one NFL analyst or Fantasy Expert that doesn't think Tony Romo sucks. I listen to a lot of sports talk and a lot of fantasy podcasts and no one is rating Romo very high at all.

No. But I am interested about that paper. Wow, odds, in gambling. I seem to think you can remove luck from gambling. I believe it. Give up? Nah, just don't wanna waste my time on some pointless argument, where I proved that Tony Romo isn't elite. The proof is there. So, at the end of the day, I know that. So, that's cool. I'm not bowing out, I'm simply seeing beyond the foliage of bullshit being presented from someone I'll never meet. Granted, I look to be an upstanding member of the forum and with that being said why try and convince someone otherwise of an viewpoint they disagree with anyway, which they can disagree all they want, the stats state the facts about Romo, and I plan to not drop out of the top three in pick em sports. So, with that being said, if you have a copy of that paper on the net, could I read it, cause I'm not gonna lie, I'm curious.

:argue:

And it should have ended then. But what I'm saying it was then ended as far as I'm concerned. People still think Romo is "good" has the stuff. The moment he is down, that's when everyone dogs him. But when he's playing good, all of them treat him like he's elite. I was speaking merely from a standpoint of his overall performance. Maybe I wasn't clear on that.
