I have one thing to tell Earl Hebner:
First off, neither Bret Hart nor Vince McMahon are good actors. Their emotions at the time were very, very real.
If Earl Hebner believed that, why did he run out of the arena like a craven coward? If he was scared of the crowd retaliating, it would have made more sense for him to remain in the arena until it was safe to leave. He ran because he was scared Bret would kick his ass.
I seriously doubt that if Bret knew it was a work that he would have had an altercation with McMahon in Bret's dressing room. This was witnessed by several wrestlers and they all confirmed that Bret knocked Vince senseless.
Give it up Earl. The only point to you bringing this up is because it is the only way for you to get anyone to care about you anymore.

Yeah, everybody knows it was a work. All three of them were in on it as all three benefited from it. Vince got his Sexy boy, Shawn got the gold, and Bret got to leave WWE like a savage.
I usually think this kind of stuff is all a work, but I think Bret truly got screwed. Words would have gotten out at some point after all these years if it was really just an angle. But I mean it very well could be a work, if that's the case Bret is a master of kayfabe.
Agreed. Although I am not as big a fan of Bret as a lot of wrestling fans, the man WAS a phenomenal wrestler. But his acting made Hogan look like Daniel Day Lewis.
It's like the moon landing. If it was faked, by this point, someone would have come forward and said something. But the people involved have all been adamant that it was real. And these are purists like Undertaker, Vader, Terry Taylor and others. When you have a lot of evidence pointing towards it being real and NONE towards it being a work, it was probably real.
Oh and @Solid Snake I know you like your conspiracy theories but I am not sure on your position about the moon landing. If you are someone who believes it was faked, then don't fire me
I did for a while but like you said, someone would have come forward by now. I still think 9/11 was an inside job :madcat:
You know I don't go for conspiracy theories much, but the MOMENT I heard about the World Trade Center, I thought it was an inside job too. I am not sure how I feel about it at the moment but there are things about it that make me pause.
BUT conspiracy wise, I am 100% positive that Jimmy Hoffa was killed by the mob
