So most of you read my post in the RAW LD that I was not going to make it to the show last night due to my uncle caught up in the explosion at his place of employment.

As of now 40% of his body was burned. He has 2nd degree burns on his face and the rest of his body has 3rd degree burns and is scheduled for skin grafting on Thursday.

Does anyone have any idea how long it will take for him to heal or had anyone in their family go through this?

My dad blows shit up for his work and now it makes me a little more nervous about what he is doing on a daily basis as this was caused by pumping fuel out of a tank.

Thanks man. I am not just sure about it. At least his company paid for my aunt to stay in a hotel near the hospital and got her a car to drive and handed her a wad of cash for anything she might need while there.

Here is an update. My uncle sustained the burns had a skin graft done and all was going well then his body became ravaged with infections due to many things. He got pneumonia and a blood clot and had over 10 blood transfusions and was put on dialysis last night. Just got a call that they declared him brain dead and will mot he around much longer.

The healing process really depends on his bodies healing process normally takes. It could take somewhere between 2 - 6 months for complete healing, maybe even a year, for the skin grafting that is.... As far as the burns, they should be prescribing him something to help minimize the burns. You can even find ointments at CVS or a pharmacy that you can buy OTD that reduce the scars from the burn marks

I'm really sorry to hear about this going on with him. I hope that things turn around. He and your family will be in my prayers.
