He made the best of a bad situation and developed well as a character during that title reign. I also think that early on he carried Miz in their team but as time went on and Miz got more experience Miz started to stand out more.

Miz was always going to be pushed further purely because of the MTV connection.

That's one reason but Miz is just an overall talented guy who is full of charisma and I feel still hasn't reached his peak from a in ring standpoint.

Does anyone remember when the duo split up and a lot of us thought John Morrison would be the one to succeed the most out of the two?

So much for that haha.

lol yeah though I always thought people underminded Miz too much and overhyped Jomo when that happened. However I did think WWE would push Morrison more esp since they made Morrison the face. Glad it turned out the way it did though.

I think Andrew was referring to Morrison's ECW title reign, the work he did before he and Miz teamed up. He was good in that role when he denounced the Nitro name and changed his name to Morrison. The Tuesday Night Delight could actually cut promos in that character and he wrestled some really good matches especially with CM Punk.

Morrison was better as a heel, if he developed that once again he'd be over.

Morrison's face turn killed him but I don't think going back heel would revive his career like most people do. I think he's pretty much in midcard purgatory forever.

I am not a big Morrison fan and think he has reached his level in WWE. I have given my thoughts on the Melina situltion in another thread so won't repeat it here.

To answer the thread question, no he has not lost his Mojo he is just the same as he ever was.

I agree that the face turn hurt him and I also agree that turning him heel won't suddenly make him mainevent material again. WWE will have to stick with him as a face for now and there is no point turning him heel at the moment when he means nothing.

But playing a heel makes more sense with that character. To me the character stinks, but it is a heel character not a face character. Also just because he has been a face for so long now and has not made any further progress then why not switch him, it can't hurt to try it.

There has to be a reason for the switch though I don't want them to just make him a heel next week without a story behind it. Maybe they could use his frustration at not winning lately as a reason for the switch.

Plus he was getting over as a face before his neck injury. He was the number two face on RAW but the injury completely set him back.

The face thing is all like look I can do parkour.

Personally Morrison doesn't have it never has. He was good on the mic in one promo when he dropped the Nitro name (which was kinda better than Morrison) I saw great things for him while watching Tough Enough I mean he does a standing shooting star press but he's never used it in the ring the parkour things he does half the time just take to long to setup making it unbelievable. Not to mention his constant fuck ups with his attitude.

But the fans would pop for him when he would do the parkour type moves so it does work. I think that they are trying to make Morrison a mix between HBK and Jeff Hardy. Pretty boy with the big high flying spots. Just have him jump off the stage or titantron and then the fans will get behind him.
