I'm going to sound like a mark. I blame it on his silly Gimmick. I feel like he's been given really dumb angles and most of the time, turns them into pure entertainment. His in-ring abilities are always technically sound. We actually should start up a best in the world thread and seriously debate it. That'd be fun stuff.

Good shout, start it now if you fancy. And yeah totally agree, he's managed to get so over despite having such a lame gimmick. Man's a genius.

Stand by it if you want, it still doesn't make you any less wrong. I am far from a Bryan hater, I enjoy him more than most in WWE. But he is far far far far far from the most over since the AE. He isn't even the most over right now ffs.

Who is more over now?
I'm just curious..

Part time:
Taker
HHH
Vince
Brock
Rock

Full time:
Cena
Punk
Orton
Arguably more over or at least as over:
Ryberg (sadly. For the time being)
Big Show (gets heat; always gets the reactionz from casuals)
Mysterio (probably the #2 most over va y face with marks)
Sheamus (depends on the crowd really)

No. Just no. Big Show comes out to crickets most of the time now, and Mysterio gets his usual quiet pop at the moment.

You don't even watch parts of RAW with these superstars on it do you?

Cena, Orton, Punk and Ryback (sometimes) are the full-timers who get more pops. I would go as far as saying Bryan gets louder reactions than HHH and Brock (in casual cities anyway).

Just PPVs, where their reactions seems the same as they always are

The fact that you think DB is more over than HHH in casual cities is nothing short of hilarious though

Their reactions are the same on PPV's - crickets. Seriously those three you mentioned are so far off it's not even funny lol.

As for the HHH thing, I meant to write "smark". Was on the phone at the time. Though to be honest, I guarantee DB can challenge HHH in terms of pops incasual cities as well. HHH has been getting dog shit reactions to be honest (his "send off" match is proof of that, and just rewatch the slammys if you want).

DB is RIDICULOUSLY over and hasn't relied on booking, in fact he's simply raped bad booking.

Cena is never more over than DB IMO, Cena's fan base is majorly Kids and women and he is not over among the adult male fan base.

DB on the other hand has his fan base from different ages and genders, hell at TLC despite him not being a face, he got a louder pop than that JohnBoy.

Sheamus?
Mysterio?
Big Show?

Are you serious?

Over covers multiple areas of the spectrum to be fair. The fact that Cena is booed so much by parts of the crowd is another side of his overness.

Hell I don't even know if DB is a face or a Heel, always gets the same big reaction from the crowd.

Because vince mcmahon gives him the title. Wrestling is booked, it's scripted. Like young & the restless and any other dramtic soap opera that I assume you like.
