Has anyone ever wondered why Haku was never booked as an unbeatable, monsterous heel...

WWF in the early 90's a performer had to have charisma and a larger-than-life personality. Haku just didn't have that It factor. Not many people would pay money to see a live WWF show if Haku was headlining the main event. On the subject of Brock, you're right he can't talk, only wrestles a handful of matches a year, has a limited moveset, and I don't think the ratings are all that high when he is on TV. Maybe it's time Vince should let him go and the hefty salary that Brock commands. High maintenance, low payoff.

First off, we were talking in terms of “talkers.” You seem to have kind of steered from this and are now going into the “charisma” and “larger than life” stuff, which is fine if that’s what you want to talk about, but we were talking just “talkers.” I get it can crossover some, but I envision a good talker as Paul heyman, for example.

Second, in terms of not being a talker, lots of stars couldn’t talk in the 90’s that were big: taker, Kane, big show, Nash, Goldberg, sting, etc. using your somewhat off topic “larger than life” argument, I suppose they had that.

Third, your whole Brock point Makes me feel lost... the guys sells, makes but feuds, and like him or not, he is believable as shit and it works.

Sting was a talker and can cut a good promo. A lot of fans dislike Kevin Nash but he was a smooth talker on the mic, especially in WCW. So, two of your six examples are false.

Now, onto to your first point: I never steered from the subject: Why didn't Haku receive a bigger push and I felt his WWF run was good enough. He was a co-holder of the WWF tag team titles, was a member of the Heenan Family, and was a solid mid-card performer in the WWF. Not every wrestler can be pushed in the main event. You were the one who went off-topic when you began discussing Brock Lesnar in a thread about Haku.

Buried yourself on this reply. I used Brock as a perfect example of not needing to talk, relevant. Have a good evening buddy :)

You made a weak analogy between Brock Lesnar and Haku throughout this thread and but I am the one who's been buried!
