RIP

One of the few directors I actually cared about.

An important part of the Ghostbuster's team and a very talented writer and director. Gone way too soon. RIP.

Looks like I may have to retract my "So much for Ghostbusters 3" statement.

I wish I could find the links, as I was reading them last night, but sources are saying that they are currently rewriting parts to incorporate Ramis' death into the story. Even if sticking with the originally penned story(where Murray wanted Venkman killed off) we are still left with Ernie Hudson & Dan Aykroyd who could lend some of the old humour in with the new recruits(rumoured that Eliza Dushku is amongst their ranks), and there is a strong possibility Rick Moranis may even return.

They could even go a very strange route, they could always hire on Maurice LeMarche(Voice of Egon Spangler, Calculon, and The Brain) to voice over an Egon ghost.

YES PLEASE!

On another note if this does happen I hope they don't muck about too much with the old characters or try to be too creative when it comes to covering Ramis' absence.
