Maybe WWE will be worth watching again? Jeff deserves another world title reign before he calls it quits.

Lol if anyone hates wrestlers with drug problems then you must hate the entire 80’s locker room.

I personally don’t give a fuck how many drugs someone has done in regards to my love for them as a wrestler. I separate personal and professional. Do I think Jeff is a scumbag for all his drug problems? Yep. Does that change the fact that I’m entertained by him? Nope. Even after Victory Road 2011, I’ve still enjoyed him as a wrestler because he’s never appeared fucked up on screen again and has been entertaining.

It's not the drugs I got a problem with and shit. It's him doing that shit and then getting behind the wheel of a car. :smh I had gotten over Victory Road and was a fan again until that bullshit. Let him prove himself, prove he won't be a fucking idiot again, and then maybe then he can get a title again.

Yeah I hate that he did that but like I said it doesn’t change his entertainment value. If they don’t want to give him a push because of that I’m ok with it but I’m not gonna not be entertained if they do.

The point is, you don't put faith into someone like that until they can show they changed. Say you give him the title, and he goes out and does that again? That's a bad look. I surly hope he's good now.

No I agree with you. I’m just saying I’d still be entertained if they did. Like there are some people that say they’re not entertained by a wrestler because of what happened in their personal life. I don’t agree with that.

Oh yeah, I mean I can agree to that to an extent. Like, I wasn't a fan of Jeff after Victory Road, but he still was a bit entertaining. I just being the huge Sting fan I am, was really pissed at what I felt was disrespect. He won me back over during the stuff with Matt in TNA and all that broken stuff. I'm always just hit or miss with him on if I'm a fan tho.

That's definitely fair, but you can't tell me no other wrestler has ever gotten a title post DUI (or gotten arrested), or even worse.

In 96, Flair gave a 20 year old alcohol and then gave her keys to drive. Show exposed himself to a hotel worker 98.

None of this behavior is excusable, but we gotta call the shots fair.

I mean I was young then. I probably would've been saying the same stuff back then as I am now to be fair.

Just because others have done it in the past doesn't mean Jeff should get a major run in 2020 though. I don't know if I would have been a hypocrite and advocated for Flair getting that run in 96 or not considering that was the year I was born so I don't really have an opinion on that, but I don't think there's anyone anywhere near as problematic as Jeff that I've advocated for getting a major run in the past...except for Jeff himself when I was a big fan. And he got his 08 moment, and it was great, but I can't really blame WWE for not doing more when his behavior never seems to change.

On-screen I'm pretty indifferent to Jeff. I liked the Orton feud so he proved that he can still entertain me with that, but I'm not just crazy excited to see what he does next, but I'd definitely prefer him getting a decent run if it can help him get his life on track...again...bc it seems like when he's injured he resorts to his old habits which would make sense.

I believe you.

And I've said this earlier in the thread, but as a younger kid at the time, I was so disappointed by Jeff leaving WWE, and then subsequently fucking up in TNA. But I was still drawn to his persona, style, moveset, and look. I can't vouch for his personal decisions, but I know he probably doesn't enjoy being messed up and is undoubtedly trying to to get clean.

He's only got a few years left in this, imo. I hope, as lifelong Jeff fan, he gets it together.

I wish Jeff Hardy would just inject battery acid into his veins and call it day.

If he's smart, he'll leave. Who would want to be booked by an old, past his prime (by about 20 years) piece of shit like current day Vince McMahon? Oh, and work the toughest schedule out of all of the companies, too? Fuck that. Tell Magoo to go fuck himself, Jeff.
